Im 71 male and I put this together by myself. Went together great and easy to do. I tied it to a smaller run and coop. I think it will last. The trap maybe last one summer. I did use different stake. And they held my tent in place with 70 mph wind so it should hold this. I give it 5 starts!!!

I'm editing this to bring the rating up to five stars, and to add more info about the bracing. The bracing is even more of a nuisance than I knew when I wrote the first draft of this review, but at least it exists. Most similar chicken runs do not have triangular bracing in the corners at all. Once I got the bracing installed, it did make the frame much less wobbly. I think it was worth the effort, but it was a lot of effort. The frame goes together pretty easily until you get to the triangular bracing in the corners, which was clearly an afterthought. The page about installing the bracing is not part of the main instruction book; it is on a separate page that was stuck in later, after the instructions were printed. There are no holes for the screws that hold the braces in place, nor any marking to show where they should go. The triangular bracing comes with self-tapping screws (they are supposed to make their own holes). I put a hex socket in the chuck of my drill and used it to drive the screws. They did make their own holes in the aluminum tubing that forms the frame, and I thought all was well. Then the screws started popping out. The self-tapping end on the screw makes a hole that is slightly too large for the threaded part of the screw. I had to buy larger diameter screws to fit those holes. Similar screws are used elsewhere to prevent a connector from sliding along one of the tubes that make up the frame. At first, I thought those were not really needed, but eventually I decided to put them all in. Again, there are no holes for them, and no markings to show where they should go. It wasn't too difficult to figure out, though. A few stayed in place. I replaced the others with larger screws. Other than that, it is what I expected it to be. I'm going to use it to keep deer out of a small vegetable garden. I think it will work.

We purchased this to add some extra run space to our existing coop. My husband put it together and it took quite a while. He started at 9:30am and wasn't complete until 1pm. So just be prepared for it to take some time. It was also a 2 person job getting the chicken wire unrolled as we were attaching to the frame. It was all well worth it though! Very sturdy and a great set-up! Lots of space for our ladies!

Works great for my rooster. Would definitely need to anchor it down and we used bigger zip ties than what it came with. Definitely not big enough for more than a few chickens.

Good frame. But the sides where the chicken wire attaches definitely need to be reinforced with actual wire. The zip ties that it comes with only lasted a few months in the outdoor elements before they broke and I had roaming chickens.

Nice setup for the price. I needed to have a separate coop for my turkeys to keep them away from my chickens as the chickens will just plain torture the turkeys when they're young and even into early adulthood prior to them being dispatched. I used a small storage shed i already had and added this coop setup to it to help give them some protection and to also keep them pinned in. We have some windy weather where we live and so I added some 4x4's around the bottom to help give it some weight to prevent it from blowing over. I screwed the 4x4s to the lowered frame The small steaks that they provide don't go deep enough to give the coop some real grabbing power to the ground. So far so good. I was able to build this home for my turkeys on a small budget. If it works I will add metal chicken wire over the framing and maybe some fiberglass roofing next spring to turn it into a more permanent structure/habitat for my turkeys that I raise each year for meat. I would have to say that the real only drawback from this whole kit is the door/gate lock. It is very cheap and would be easy for the wind or just the turkeys hitting the gate the right way when they get bigger to dislodge the locking handle for them to escape. I will upgrade the lock in a few days. All in all I would still give it 5 of 5 stars even with the current lock it came with. I was able to put this together by myself in about 2 hours with most of that time being dedicated to placing the chicken wire over the framework. I would say 2 people could do this project in a little more than an hour. Don't skimp on the plastic ties. It's not supper big. They do sell one that is twice the size, but for what I'm needing it for, this size will do.

Definitely need more zip ties, I beefed mine up a little with some braces on the top to add a tin roof. Perfect for just a handful of chickens! Also recommend another type of hardware cloth to go around for extra security, just haven’t put mine on yet.
