I've measured it & with the drawstring fully let out it's 22&1/2 inches. This is my head size & I wish this hat truly was 24 inches as I feel I could wear it longer. Hat's that are too tight give me a headache. I've actually stored the hat on a large round object to try to gently stretch it but it has not worked. Other than that it's a great hat for sun protection/keeping the sun out of my eyes. I like being able to snap the brim out of the way on one or both sides as needed which allows for better field of vision when hiking. The chin drawstring is great for windy days. I've had the hat for about a year, wear it 1-2 times per week & it's still holding up. And mine is red camo, which the hummingbirds seem to like & that's an added perk, LOL! ... show more

Can’t decide if I like it or hate it. The brim can’t be adjusted and covers up part of my visual field. I had really hoped I could adjust it to how I liked it. That said, it fits my huge 24” head, which is unusual for me. So at least there is that… EDIT: ended up returning it. Don’t like how the brim is firm and can’t be adjusted. Went for a sungrubbies hat instead (which is the other picture on my review). ... show more

I bought this hat to wear to my first (and only) music festival to keep the sun off my face. It is extremely cute and I love the little strap! My only complaint (and the reason I removed a star) is that it came already bent in the Amazon envelope and it's been a futile endeavor trying to flatten it back out. I'm a photographer, so I hid the wonkiness of the brim pretty well, but it's definitely noticeable in person. ... show more

I like this hat! It's a great color, love the strap on it, and it's vented! So many sun hats are solid, but this one keeps my head cooler! It came packaged in a plastic tube, so I weighted it down for a few days so the brim would be straight. It came rolled up, and took several days of sitting flat to resemble a hat brim again. It still curves a little weirdly. Definitely would have preferred it shipped flat. I like the color though, and it mostly helps keep the sun out of my eyes.
