This stuff is great if you have a pet that likes to chew on cords like my kitten does. After having multiple phone chargers, headphones, and EXPENSIVE apple laptop charges destroyed, I decided it was time to do something about the chewing problem. This stuff is seriously great. It is sturdy, very easy to put on, and it comes with enough to protect multiple cords. My cat isn't even interested in trying to chew through it anymore because it doesn't give him the satisfaction like the nice thin cords did that he already destroyed. He did try to chew through it when I first put it on, but it stayed true to it's purpose and it didn't even come close to puncturing the actual electrical cord. There are some bite marks in the chewsafe cover, but my cords are fine and have no harm to them. Buy this if you have a chewer like mine. I think it would work well for all pets and all types of cords. The only downside is that is is heavy and has made my laptop charger and phone charger a bit more heavy and bulky then I would like. However just for the fact that my cords will never again be able to be chewed is well worth it! ... show more

    • A way to beat a cat
The cord was easy to use. Several cables could be bundled together, making the area under the desk neater. Now my cat does not start immediately chewing on our cables. He can be in the office with us.

    • Works well on thick cords
I purchased this to cover my Mac book power cord to protect from my kitten who is obsessed with cords right now. The Mac book power cords has two sections, the thin cord that attaches to the computer and the thicker cord that goes to the wall. This cover easily covers the thick cord to the wall, but the thinner card slips out. The kitten does not like chewing on the portion that is covered so that works. ... show more

I’ve had this for two months and ultimately it was destroyed and the electrical cord underneath was also chewed and now needs to be replaced. It may provide temporary protection for a month at best with a determined pet. I’d suggest going with metal cord protection, and not the mesh covers either because I’ve heard those can cause issues if swallowed. ... show more
