I took them near my cats and it seemed to annoy them. I’m going to use these as a way to keep neighborhood cats away from my window so I can’t stop spraying and peeing in the house to Mark territory and hopefully it will deter my cats from leaving the home if I have a bunch of these set up on their way out. I recently purchased 4 of these repellers to deter squirrels and chipmunks in our backyard. They were cute but making big messes. They also chewed up our lite cords in the front to our house. Within a few hours, they vacated and they have still vacated after one month of using these repellers. I purchased another set of 4 repellers for the front area. Complete waste of money. I purchased 4 of these and they do absolutely nothing - make no sound, cats, dogs, etc walk right up to the device. The red light comes on, but it does keep pests away.

We bought 2 a couple of months ago. After seeing how effective they are, we bought 4 more to strategically place them in our backyard! The 1st 2 were placed in the front yard where we were "infested" with chipmuncks that dug holes in our flower beds and on the sides of our house. Since installation, we haven't seen any chipmunks in the front yard. Feel bad for the little chipmunks, but my goodness, can't have them digging holes all over the flower beds and probably underneath the house! :) ... show more
