I gave up a working Breville toaster oven to make room (It's big) on the counter for this appliance because I had read so many good reviews about air frying. I love fried foods but usually, only have them dining out because they're such a mess to make at home. I have had the unit for over a month and have only used the air fry setting twice (Coconut crusted shrimp & French fries) and they came out perfect. But I'm a fan of some other cooking features that didn't impress me when I bought it. I regularly use the “warm” function to defrost bread and other frozen bakery products and it does a wonderful job heating up leftover pizza (Refrigerated or frozen) so it tastes like fresh.. The removable pan and the bottom tray are not dishwater safe so I bought nonstick oven liner sheets for both. I use the mesh racks for most things and pop them in the dishwasher when done. They come out great. I've not done anything really sloppy in it so I don't know how difficult that would be to clean up if necessary. The only issue I've had to deal with is time settings. You cannot use the baking time setting on most frozen food you buy. The cooking time in this device is much shorter than what the directions call for. You should use the excellent interior light to watch the product near the end of the cooking time and turn the unit off when done enough. For most things (Like pot pies or pizza) you can make a mental or physical note of how long it actually took to cook for the next time you do it. They don’t tell you in the instructions but after you turn it off the unit will continue to run for several minutes. I guess that’s to make sure it’s cool. I still have the product package and shipping box in the garage just in case but they'll be going in the trash next week. I’m happy. ... show more

I have been wanting an air fryer. When I saw this all-in-one appliance, decided to buy it. I use it every day. So far I have baked, broiled, air fried and toasted with it. Just wish it came with a book that had more information on how to use the air fryer. The "cookbook" that came with it is useless. What I need is basic information on how to use an air fryer for different types of food. That is the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 star rating. Great value for the money. ... show more

I’ve had the 20qt air fryer for about three weeks now, and have cooked several items in it. It’s easy to program and use, and has several trays to select for various food items. The food always comes out nice and crispy when air fried! The downsides are that the trays don’t fit perfectly into the sliding shelf on the sides of the oven, and I can see that being a problem in the future with pans falling down. The light button also sometimes doesn’t work, or the light gets stuck perpetually on or off. The only way to fix that it to unplug. Lastly, sometimes when you touch the screen to wake the device up, it spits out an error code instead of turning on. The baking tray is not always super easy to clean, but everything else is easy. However, I haven’t had any major issues and I love having this air fryer in my kitchen. It’s convenient, quiet, and cooks to a great consistency! ... show more

I bought this as a replacement for another one that I'd recently purchased and didn't like. Chefman is a good brand name and reading other's reviews, it seemed to be just what I wanted. I use it mostly for toasting and warming things up but it does work well as an air fryer. The recipe book that you get with it has a lot of good ideas in it, which I haven't tried yet. The ONLY negative thing that I have to say is that the digital cooking temperatures aren't always what I want. I was cooking something that called for a 390 degree setting, which I just used the 400 and adjusted the amount of time, slightly. ... show more
