I had to get two because all my tank pets use them so much. They are bigger than I thought and at first I was slightly upset. I put it in anyway and well it was a big hit with my two frogs and all the fish. Now I'm happy the fish use it. I don't think it would be nearly as nice if they didn't. They are made well. Its the perfect size and shape- I love that its got two entrances, so if someone comes in one side, the crab inside can choose to dart out the back side if they dont want to stake their claim. Its sturdy and smooth- really a great product and great size.

I can’t necessarily say anything bad about the product, my fish seem to love it. My betta fish especially, she’s a curious girl, she likes to hang in there along with my younger kuhlis. My panda garra goes in there every now and then as well. I do wish it was a little bigger but oh well, I might just stay with the one I ordered for now while I try to figure out my new rescape for my aquarium ... show more

The piece is rather sturdy, and was exactly as described and expected. However, because of the silicone in the corners of the tank, the piece would not sit completely flush against the glass walls, and therefore sand would sift down into the tunnel. My kuhli loaches have been seen in there several times since yesterdays installation but the tunnel is filling up quickly with sand and I’ve even witnessed them squeezing between the glass and the tunnel to enter. I will likely get one that sits flush against one wall of glass rather than a corner piece, even though I really loved the idea of the corner. Installation was a bit tedious, since my tank was already established and aquascaped, so I would recommend installing before adding substrate, if possible. Not a total waste but not likely to use for long. I gave 3 stars because although the piece is well constructed, the design is flawed, as I would imagine most standard aquariums will have silicone in the corners. ... show more

I got this as a place for my shrimp and others to hide away from the betta. Tough luck, betta swims through it too lol. Nevertheless the Corys, snails and shrimps still find their way in there and hang out. I think it's a cool hidey-corner where you can still see who's in there.
