I have been looking at different security systems to see which would work best for us. I found that most are very expensive and cost a small fortune to have them monitored. The ring system is moderately priced and you have the option of what level of monitoring you want. Even the full monitoring is not outrageously priced and is affordable. The system was easily to set up and did not take a lot of time. It works great and when the alarm is set off it is loud enough that everyone can hear it even my one neighbor lol. It took me a bit to remember to disarm it when my dog wanted to outside earlier then normal. I would suggest anyone looking into a security system to consider the ring system. ... show more

I had simplisafe for the longest and decided to shop another system when I realised upon disconnection of the service, I was not able to see access the app dashboard (greyed out) not could I activate any additional contacts without a paid plan. I already used the ring camera and opted for their alarm after watching a few vids from other consumers about the product. I am pleased myself for the following: - Fairly simple to set up - Ease of removing keypad from holder to any room in home for access - Motion sensor keypad that light up when movement is in range - Option of monitoring in your home without a fees unless you opt for the 911 option that comes with a monitoring fee - Contact sensors are not bulky on windows and doors - Ease of using with all other ring products on the ring app I would recommend if anyone is in the market. Love our ring products including this alarm system. So easy to install and use. Have switched from ADT to ring because it’s so much more user friendly and cheaper. I installed 9 contact sensors, 4 glass break sensors, a motion detector and the alarm system in about an hour by myself (a 44 year old female).
