Second review for replacement: This replacement fountain was perfect and noticeably new as the tube and "pedals" were connected to tube -all one piece. The first one was a pile of glass parts. I bought a new pump that has a USB plug so I could use a battery pack on the table and hide with cherry blossoms. Like the fact that it is not plastic, resin or other material. the 4 rating is for the trouble of returning and sending out the previously owned broken fountain. This is exactly what I wanted to incorporate into a dinner table arrangement. When I opened the box I was happy to see what I purchased. As I unpacked the elements I was extremely disappointed to find the glass tube used to connect the pump to the top tear of the glass lotus leaves. broken off in 2 places. The glass portions of this fountain are packed very poorly and shake around on each other. Further, the glass leaves have some rough edges as if they weren't finish when manufactured I will update review when I receive the replacement.. ... show more

This item is very plain. It has no lighting. I added 4 different color translucent rocks in white, pearl, and 2 different types of turquoise. I added waterproof fairy lights. I added fake gems and pearls and I added seashells. I added a decorative sandal for the front of the fountain and now the fountain is absolutely breathtaking. The photos are how my fountain looks with embellishments. It is absolutely stunning. The fairy lights, translucent rocks and gems reflect the water. It looks very spa-like, beachy and Zen. My embellishments turn a boring fountain into a reflective, meditative space. It’s gorgeous now with my embellishments on it. I never tire of seeing it and I cannot take my eyes off it. You need to add embellishments to this fountain. This fountain has the potential to be a real stunner like my design is. ... show more

The fountain is very quiet and lends itself nicely to medium sized stones. Chose it because of its natural composition (Glass and Ceramic). Placed in my SE corner, added tumbled green and brown stones, and immediately experienced signs of more abundance. Recommend using using distilled water for ease of use. The media could not be loaded. It’s an excellent product. What I like about it is that it’s quiet, easy to assemble (there are only 3 pieces I think), easy to maintain and with it’s simple lines, aesthetically pleasing. I have tried other table top fountains and after a while, the engine starts breaking down. The rocks and other decorations also get in the way of the water flow. This model had one other decoration, a plastic tree which I ended up removing. I like that the water flow is unobstructed. Note that it’s best to use distilled water and I add vinegar (about 1 cup to a gallon of water). The water condenses so it’s best to add water daily. When you forgot to add water, the product gives a strange noise. Good buy! ... show more

the product is beautiful, but the motor on mine is very distractingly loud; you can’t hear the waterfall over it at all. :( i live in an apartment, and i can hear it from every room. i tried all different levels of water and no improvement. it’s possible mine may just be defective, however.)

This product is absolutely beautiful. Its smaller than expected but it is real glass with a slight green tint. It does have a slight noise but my TV is usually on and didnt really notice it. I would buy again.
