Great design overall. But I don’t know if the Quality Assurance person was off the floor when this one was made because the hole where the pin is supposed to slide through is too small for the diameter of the pin. So now I’ll need to find something to use as a replacement for the pin - which isn’t a big deal, except I paid for a fully working product right out of the box. Disappointed ... show more

Beautiful aluminum build. Unfortunately form does not meet function. Tool is useless. Nice paperweight though.

This is a nice tool that needs just a little help from mfg. The main knob goes from tight to sloppy with little free play for fine tuning. I thought the pointer would screw into the pivot point it does not, this requires attention I would rather devote to other parts of the layout. The hole for marking through are a very nice size, I think with more use it will replace my compass in most situations. ... show more
