This tarp is made from nice, heavy canvas with excellent grommets and strong sewn seams. It is described as measuring 7’ x 9’ (84” x 108”) and based on that measurement, I bought it to temporarily fill a specific opening in my basement and capture some ambient heat in the room. When I opened it I found that, in truth, it is short on both sides. It actually measures 6’ 10” x 8’ 6” (82” x 102”), and does not fill the opening as I expected. I went back and read the description closer, I saw that the advertised measurements are NOT the finished size, and the actual measurements are in fact listed. My bad for inattention. In any event, this is a nice heavy tarp, does what I needed it for, and hangs very flat. Since it’s visible I didn’t want it to look like crap, but I see that after two days the wrinkles have already flattened from hanging it. I’m not noticing much smell at all. I’m also curious: the listing says indoor / outdoor use, but the package label says outdoor use only. Which is correct and why? ... show more

I ordered this tarp to cover my two duck hunting pirogues while on the trailer as I drive to and from hunting spots in the rain. I had them covered one night, and after an entire night of 3" of rain, they were dry inside. The tarp blocked it all. This tarp is very heavy duty and the brown color is perfect. It can double as a liner inside my duck blind to block wond and rain. Pay attention when ordering. As the ad says, it may be smaller than you need it. Mine was smaller by a couple inches all the way around, yet exactly what I needed. Just order a little larger and you'll be fine. I would highly recommend this product. ... show more

10x10 tarp in white supposed to be reflective it was also supposed to be waterproof good sturdy tarp with grommets that did not rip or tear which as you can see in the picture mine did Rip I'm not going to take this part back off of the roof because it was too much trouble to get up there but I'm really dissatisfied with it they didn't offer a refund 100 plus dollars for a piece of crap tarp that I'm not happy with ... show more

    • It's a heavy canvas tarp - just as I ordered.

This tarp is fairly heavy canvas and I got it to use as a ground cloth more than a shelter. The only downside is that the tarp is quite heavily oiled/waxed and has a strong smell of incense rather than the more traditional linseed oil smell - I would not be surprised if it had been waterproofed by putting it in a vat that included a lot of melted, scented candles: Not a bad smell, but quite strong. In handling the tarp, the oil/wax transferred to hands, clothing and the tent fairly easily making a slight mess, but after a couple of uses outdoors and in the dirt, this has pretty much gone away - although it still has the incense smell! For the purposes of a tarp (shelter, ground cloth) it does fine - just beware that it's oily/waxy and may smell strongly of incense for a while! ... show more

1. To have the color choice. Gray was perfect to match the job. 2. Made in USA. 3. This tarp is Not stiff as a board allowing it to fold like the curtain it will be. The curtain around the coal bunker and cabin on a steam locomotive. I’ll soon need another tarp to cut smaller for door curtains

Thick, sturdy canvas. An absolutely horrible chemical odor from the coating. The seams are sewn very unevenly with lots of frayed fabric showing. Only has grommets. Other brands I have bought have tabs as well to connect to. No reinforcement on any corners or grommets. Adequate, but there are better brands. Made in India. ... show more
