The media could not be loaded. I've been thinking about getting an electric yarn ball winder for a little bit. Having recently picked up my knitting needles again, I absolutely despise winding yarns sold in hanks. I was hoping this electrical winder would help expedite the matter. I did, and yet . . . The instructions that come with winder are decent, but they recommend that you check out their video for setting up the device. I used the included QR code which took me to Youtube, where there was NO VIDEO. I have attempted to slapdash a video together to show you how put together and thread the machine. The machine has variable so you make it go slow and then faster. Oddly enough, the instructions suggest you do not use an umbrella yarn swift, but then turns around tell if you do - do it like "this." I, highly, suggest using a yarn swift. I don't have one, but having rolled my first hank, I did make me wish that I did. Fortunately, I can put that on my wish list. While winding the ball, the machine will slow or stop as the tension on the yarn increases. I'm happy about that, that way you don't risk breakage. Overall, I think this is very good yarn winder. At this point, I like it better than the crank version I purchased from KNitpicks a few years ago. ... show more

I think the before and after pictures tell the entire story. Easy to use, quality product, works as described on all types/sizes of yarn. Here’s the best part - the charging cord comes with its own brick! You never get the brick anymore so this is an added bonus.
