I was not thrown off by the mention of a combo in the description. It is pretty standard for a winder to not come with the swift. There are a few options if you don't want to get a swift but frankly I don't recommend them. The long arm amish style swift is my favorite compared to the umbrella style. That being said as WINDER ONLY it does its job. It winds most yarns fairly well especially worsted which or dk which is what most people prefer. Unless you really invest any winder is going to struggle with bulky. It does come with accessories which is the COMBO I think it is referring too. They don't add much value but they are nice to have. ... show more
