My 2 small female cats have been climbing all over it. It's sturdy and easy to put together and I love the coloring. There's no weird smell, it smells like press board, sisal, and carpeting to me. This stand is a great size but there are NO assembly instructions included. Beware if your buying one you’ll have to go by the listing photo to assemble. Very cheaply made you have to tie the ball on and the base is folded in half. You get what you pay for.

Zero stars if I could. My eyes are burning from whatever toxic smell is emitting from this product. I just received it today, opened the box and immediately felt nauseated. I tool a few of the parts out, one of which was the chintzy cubby part, it's chipped on the corners made of particle board. The carpet or whatever it is that they use is a soft material (I knew this prior to purchasing) but I didn't know that it would be incredibly thin. I knew it would be small, but it seems way off from the measurements listed, by inches, not just a little. I packed it up to return. Please choose something else. I can't imagine animals being exposed to this. It's really bad 👎 ☹️ ... show more

Assembly is pretty straight-forward if you've ever put together a cat tree before. It feels like these all come from the same manufacturer or at least the design is all kind of borrowed from each other. You just have to put the pillars inside the bottom part, hand-tighten, then use the included allen wrench to finish it up and attach it to the base. From there, it's pretty self-explanatory within the instructions. I will note there is a slightly chemical smell to it when removing from the packaging, but it seems to air off pretty quickly. My cat didn't seem to be bothered by it, as she took to it right away and has been sleeping on it ever since! Cute design overall, but just watch out for some of the fabric from the green cloth shedding. ... show more

This small cat tree is not only adorable, but my cats also love it! The material is so soft - I don't blame them for curling up and napping for hours on the platform and in the box. They also love the sisal scratching post and hanging ball toy. I love that it adds some green to my living room as well.
