I was looking for a tower for my cat for a long time, after having purchased lots of crap he just doesn’t use at all. This one grabbed my attention immediately because it’s not your typical “wrapped in beige carpet” one. My cat is very particular in where he would sleep (dog’s beds being his favorite places, ignoring completely his own beds - what a waste of money). I know he doesn’t like plushy surfaces so this one was perfect! I knew he’d like the baskets as they are not all soft and squishy (we even removed the insert from the top basket). I’m sooooo glad I chose right - he loves it and uses every part of it - sleeps in both basket and an “egg”, scratched all poles and jumps all around. I needed something for him so he can go to tiny window in the basement so he can watch the birds outside, but I didn’t want the ginormous tower. This one was perfect as we put it on top of a storage shelf, and his top basket is up to the ceiling and he loooooves it! Doesn’t even go to the window lol. It’s a great quality item, worth it’s price, very sturdy and neatly done. My only warning, though, is if your cat is large and fat, it’s probably not the best fit. My 9 year old kitty loves this condo! Probably the best one I have ever bought for my cat. It’s so stylish and neat, and my cat fell in love with it pretty much right away. She plays and sleeps and rests on this guy all day long. I love how soft and padded the shelves are, really a cat heaven! And the removable pillows from the bottom and top baskets are perfect, so you can wash them when they get dirty. This is perfect for my kitty, and looks so fantastic. My two highly active kittens love this for chasing each other, playing with the attached toy, watching birds from the top, scratching the posts and sleeping. It’s nice looking and not as large as some others. I like its compactness. It was easy to put together and didn’t take long. Well made, quality materials. Best for kittens. 3 years later… I still have this cat tree but I got a larger one for my 3 year old cats. My female cat still likes to nap in the top basket and sit on the top ledges. I’ve had this tree for my 3 cats for almost 20 months but I think it’s time for a replacement. I replaced some of the sisal rope once because my cats tear it up. My main problem with this thing is it’s so hard to clean. The basket on top CLINGS to hair and it’s impossible for me to get it all out. The little cushion that’s supposed to go in there got lost quickly. It did not stay in there. The carpet also likes to grip onto cat hair and sisal rope particles. Not matter how much vacuuming and Lili brushing I do, it never looks as good as the first week I bought it. It’s cute but I’m tired of it. Time to replace with something with solid wood and no carpet! ... show more

    • AMAZING cat condo!

This cat condo is not only attractive, but super sturdy. I've had it for 2 years now and it has survived the kitten stage of 2 of my cats. All 3 of them LOVE the condo, they fight over the top perch. I have an 11lb mainecoon and a 13lb tabby along with an 8 month old kitten and they each fit very comfortable in the top perch bed and the 13lb guy loves to hang out in the bottom enclosure as well. So it's not just built for small or average sized cats! The 13lb guy and kitten love to climb the pole to get to the top and there's no issue with stability, its placed against a wall. None of them were using the shelf until I added a $10 oval Harmony cat bed (in black) from PetCo and now that's the #2 spot to bask in the sun puddles. The top perch comes with a washable thin mat, the rest I vacuum. The rope scratchers are a hit on every level and have held up really well after 2 years. Really recommend this product!! ... show more

My cat loves this tree. It is relatively sturdy, but it does tend to slide around a bit on our hardwood floor. It would be nice if it had rubber stoppers on the bottom to avoid this issue. As for the scratching posts, she only uses them on occasion because she prefers her other scratch posts so I can’t really speak on the durability of those. They are tightly wound and look/feel durable. Overall the value for the price is great. It’s not hideous like a lot of other cat trees and looks nice next to our mid century/modern furniture. I would recommend it! We’ve had it for several months now and it still looks just the same as when we bought it. ... show more
