We absolutely love love the way this scratcher looks but our little guy just doesn’t get it. We tried everything cat nip, toys and food and he’s just not sure what to do with it. At one point he just bit it and ran. So sadly it’s going back. But if you think your cat will love it it’s definitely worth it! It just looks amazing! ... show more

Crinkly leaves and a good aesthetic set this post apart. This scratcher is small though. 10-year-old domestic shorthair for reference. The stem is only placed into the top, so it falls out easily. Wish it screwed in. Overall not worth the price for normal size cats unless you like the look or your cats like to scratch low surfaces. Probably wouldn't buy again, my cats prefer the tall cactus scratcher. ... show more

I have 3 cats, one of whom is a problem furniture scratcher. She has not been interested in any scratching posts to date, and I gave this one a try for no particular reason. She uses it all the time. This wasn’t cheap and it is made very cheaply. It’s already fallen apart and has foam underneath the one layer of rope. Junk. Obviously this is for a cat to sharpen its claws and it falls apart when that happens. When it does fall apart, it sheds dangerous foam that can seriously hurt a cat if they ingest it.
