Did not read the details of the stand, thought it was for all cats. A couple liked it for awhile but was too small. We have, I guess, three medium and two large cats. For something like this, a weight/length scale would be useful. Gave it to our daughter, her cat loves it. Again the "preening" roller was the driving force and will look for another for larger cats. ... show more

My cats love this cat tree. It isn't very large and they have knocked it over while wrestling. But for the price I think it's worth it. They don't claw it very often so not the best scratching post but they like climbing it.

This was pretty easy to put together with just the Allen wrench included. At first I thought the cat basket/hammock and the cat house were going to be flimsy, but after I got it put together it’s more sturdy than I thought. My 16lb. tall muscular cat Beauregaurd squeezed his way into the little basket/hammock and took a long cozy nap. I had my doubts, but it held him up just fine. At first when I received the box I was a little nervous I wouldn’t have all the correct screws because the box was torn and a few screws fell outside my front door but luckily I noticed them and no others had fallen out so all was there, the instructions were clear and simple to follow it was easy to put together and my cat loves climbing it! It also was a great price for one that has purple in it which I was really happy about because I have purple scattered about my bedroom and it matches PERFECTLY even with the walls as seen in the photo, it’s taller than me but I didn’t use the hard-wear to install it to the wall because I only have 1 kitten so she can’t tip it but it does wobble a little bit when she goes to the very top, if you have more than 1 or if they are a lil chunky you may want to use the extra to make sure it’s more stable, she’s only 9 month so not very big yet we will see when she is full grown to make it sturdier if needed, great purchase I highly recommend ... show more

My cat LOVES this! He uses the top and the hammock (which seems to be his fave). I have it next to the window so he can look out while on the top. He has only used the bottom cubby part once.
