I road the skateboard through sprinkler puddles in the morning (many times). Went to charge the board and it wouldnt charge. Opened it up the battery was soaking wet. I disposed of it for safety reasons. I was honest with the company about me getting it wet and throwing it away and they sent me a new battery free, plugged it in and ive been riding again the past couple days. The battery came from china and the whole process took 3 weeks, a little too long. But I am greatful they replaced a battery when most companies wont cover water damage. Also the board itself is powerful has a lot of torque and a great battery life but the battery enclosure is definitely not waterproof. ... show more

It’s for my 19 year old son & so far, after an only a week, he loves it! We installed a front & rear clip on light for safety, it’s quite easy to do. We used plastic clips that hold 12 ga. electrical wires by nailing into studs - very common find at Home Depot. Pros - lots of power & going up hill is easy. He rides longboards & likes the look. The remote is great & a bit touchy & takes a little bit to get used to. Cons - it’s heavy & some of the grip from the grip tape is already coming off the edges.
