Even though I'm only giving this three stars, I still recommend this chair for this price range. Pros: - The SL track massage is excellent. I haven't tried, but wouldn't want, the fixed roller massage chairs. The SL track massage system is why I bought this chair, and it is excellent. I'm six feet tall and it goes from the base of my skull to the top of my hip bones. - The various massage types. With SL track comes with different kinds of massaging such as thumping, tapping, my two favorites: kneading and rolling, and combinations of them. - The mechanics of the chair seem solid after two weeks of daily use. - The foot rollers are good, though often too intense when combined with the pneumatic leg squeezers. - I didn't think I would like any of the pneumatic squeezers, but I do like the leg and hand squeezers. Cons: - We REALLY don't like the shoulder squeezers. They are unpleasant at their lowest setting, and painful at their highest setting. You can turn them off, but that also turns off the hand squeezers. - The software is weak. It follows a single pattern for start-up no matter what you actually want. It will always start with the first programmed massage, reclined about 2/3 of the "zero gravity" travel. If you want to just sit upright and get an easy, lower back massage while writing a review on Amazon, you have to go through about a 20 second start-up while being reclined back, with foot rollers and full squeezers; then turn off the rollers and squeezers, un-recline the chair back to where you started, and select the manual massage you wanted in the first place. There are a couple of more software oddities that I could get into, but others might not even notice them. - The lack of programmable favorite configurations is getting old quickly. This is closely related to the last point, but if you are shopping for a more expensive chair, I would recommend looking for this feature. - The assembly process REQUIRES two people. The mechanical connections between the base, back and foot rest are very simplistic and require one person hold the heavy chair back in an exact position while the other inserts the connectors and cotter pins. I can do a lot of things on my own, but this required I call, and wait for, a buddy. - The remote beeps loudly. Admittedly, this is a small point, but we keep the chair in the bedroom and I literally have to sit on it when using it at night to keep from waking my spouse. For a completely unknown reason, it beeps 11 times during every start-up. Even though I have listed far more cons than pros, again, I do recommend this chair because of the SL track massage for this price point. This chair fits the bare minimum I was looking for at a price that is close to half what other SL track chair sell for. ... show more
