  • Replacement, works great
I bought this to replace my swivel arm that came with the sun shade for my front porch. I needed one long enough that I could reach, with using a step stool. The arm is shown in its extended length and works wonderfully . I’ll take the swivel arm down for winter, and bring it back out for summer days. I know it’s meant for campers but it works for this too. Give it a try…no more step stools. ... show more

  • Works with my motorized awning, easy to manually extend and retract.
Works fine with my awning, looks good, made well and was reasonably priced.

  • Perfect Canopy Rollup Wand
Love this! Easy to use and very handy

  • So far so good.
Most importantly it works on the Fiamma awning I have and secondly it appears stronger (thicker wall thickness) than my original Fiamma crank that I easily sheared off trying to get my awning tight. Time will tell if it holds up.

  • Needed for a manual awning
I converted my spring loaded awning to a manual crank awning. Best thing you can do if you need an awning repaired. My roller spring broke. Instead of shelling out $1500 for a new awning setup, I wanted to repair it. My camper is a 1985 so parts are non-existent. I bought a manual crank conversion kit if Amazon and had to make a few modifications to make it fit, but it works well, looks great. Now it won't work without a handle like this so I needed it and bought it. It's kind of pricey at $50 but when you need it you need it. Total cost to fix awning, $150 with crank and kit. So still I saved a ton. ... show more

  • Just what I needed
I bought this product to replace the hand crank handle on my outdoor blinds I use for shade in my lanai. This product is perfect and much easier to crank (it extends or shortens too) and appears VERY well made. It fit right in place where my other old work out hand crank handles went , and would recommend this product to anyone who needs to put their blinds up and down frequently outdoors - it really works great. ... show more

  • "Pioneer" wins over "Coolaroo"
Bought used from Warehouse deals to replace the three Coolaroo handles that had rusted so badly that I couldn't bend the handles when using them. This is much sturdier & heavier metal, appears to be powder coated, so hopefully will not rust. The crank handle portion is permanently bent, unlike the Coolaroo that can be adjusted to hang straight, and then bent to make them "easier to turn". Due to price, I replaced the three rusty ones with this one "Pioneer" and hope it will hold up better than the Coolaroo. (The hook at the top is much heavier, and a bit tighter fit into the loop on the awning, but easy enough to work very well.) ... show more

  • Great hand crank
Very sturdy hand crank. Bought it for my Coolaroo outdoor shade but the hook was a little too thick to fit the eyelet. Had to grind off about 1/8 of an inch. Works fine after that.
