  • Very Spacious and Easy to Assemble
Color: Blue Size: 8 Person
For the price, the size of this tent is massive. Family of five was able to get a queen and a full in there with plenty of room to store our gear and walk around. The color-coded poles makes it pretty easy to assemble. By myself, from unzipping the carrying bag to walking inside was about 15 minutes. It should be noted however, that I didn't use the instructions. While researching this tent, many of the review videos were also assembly videos, so I already had a grasp as to what goes where and how. It does require a little patience as the main rod across the top could be troublesome for one person. Two people can easily do it in under 10 minutes. As with all tents, make sure the rods are evenly spaced within the sleeves or you'll risk snapping them. We also caught a pretty good rainstorm during our trip. A 10 minute downpour from a storm that was just under severe limits due to wind (no hail). Tent held up pretty good. It shook a lot, but we never got wet and the tent wasn't damaged. The last tent we had in the exact same spot, the wind pulled up some the stakes and the tent collapsed. However, it's not a perfect tent (then again, short of spending $500+, what is?). It has five zippered windows - two in the front straddling the door, two on the sides, and the one on the door itself. Better windflow would have had one in the back instead of the two extra in the front, especially if you have the privacy screen up - then the wind just comes in and swirls around. Also, it doesn't have a "porch" where you can remove your shoes before entering - we either had to step in and remove our shoes or remove them outside and risk dirty feet/socks. Lastly, it will take you longer to get the tent back in that tiny carrying case than it is to assemble and disassemble it. We just went to walmart and bought a small duffle bag and put the tent and all accessories in it for storage. Overall, a pretty good tent. Would definitely recommend for at the very least casual camping. ... show more

  • Good tent for the money
Color: Sky Blue Size: 8 Person
Pros: good space that fit a queen air mattress, pack n play, and 2 sleeping mats. We used the room divider for the pack n play, which was nice to have some visual separation from our 1yo. Simple set up- my 7yo helped me set it up the first time. Waterproof floor- we had heavy condensation for 2 nights and our tarp underneath was wet but the inside of our tent was perfectly dry. Cons: there were windows only on 3 of the 4 sides so it would've been nice to get the cross breeze between the door and the back wall. Door only has 1 zipper, so you have to open door completely every time (which is obnoxious with 3 young kids constantly going in and out). Plug access point right next to door but I'd rather have it on either end of the tent. I can run a plug through the door, I don't need a port next to it. Overall, I'm happy with the tent. It doesn't have everything I wanted but it seems good quality for the price. My cons are mostly me being picky. We've used it twice in two months and been pleased with the sturdiness and quality. ... show more

  • Awesome tent!
Color: Blue Size: 8 Person
So far I am living this tent! I have bought several tents over the years and I mostly camp by myself with my dog. I like to have a lot of room in my tent to move around and also to have a king or queen size mattress inside. This tent has plenty of room and is tall enough for me. I am 6 ft tall and it gives me about an inch to an inch and a half of space over my head when I stand up in there. I like that I don't have to slouch down inside the tent. We had rain for a first weekend using the tent and so far no problems with that. There were no instructions inside on how to set this up but if you set up tents before it's not hard to figure out. But for people who may be looking for instructions the longer black poles go on both sides of the door. The shorter gray poles go on the other ends of the tent and the long orange pole goes over the top of the tent and lastly the short black pole goes over the door. I plan on posting a video next time I set up the tent up to show how exactly to set it up. But I can easily set this up by myself, as long as you stake down the Four Corners to start you can set this tent up by yourself. The zipper on the door was a little bit rough at first but after spraying some WD-40 silicone lubricant on the zipper everything's been great. All the windows zippers worked properly from the get-go. I am really enjoying this tent so far and will keep you posted if anything changes but so far really great tent. Also I like that it doesn't take up a lot of room in my car cuz previous tents that I have bought take up a lot of room in the trunk of my car and this folds up nicely and actually fits in its tent bag which is not too big of a bag and doesn't take up that much space. ... show more

  • Almost perfect tent!
Color: Red Size: 8 Person
Just went on a weekend camping trip with my buddies, and this tent performed very well! We had pop up sever thunderstorms 2/3 days but it never budged and the rain fly did its job. The inside space is bigger than you would think and could easily fit 3 queen air mattresses inside along with other things needing to stay dry. The materials seem pretty durable. Ground tarp inside doesn't even really need a footprint underneath. The only things I wish were different...I wish there was a second door but just having the one door didn't hinder or inconvenience us at all. The rainfly could have a little better design, but performed very well and didn't allow any water in. I wish there was a little more distance between outside and the floor whenever you open the door, as rain got in very easily any time we needed to go out and made it a muddy mess at the entrance, but still not a big inconvenience for us at all. I can put this tent up or take it down in about 15-20 mins without any help, including having the rainfly over it. The only other thing is I wish the windows and cover were a bit bigger for when you have the windows down, so there might be better airflow when the rainfly is on. Quick fix with a portable fan but just a heads up on the airflow. Very simple setup and great quality tent, especially for the price! ... show more
