I can only echo what so many of the other positive reviews have already identified. Sturdy but light! *Articulated* rubber feet that help to keep the tripod stable and level. Speaking of… there is an incorporated bubble level near the mounting platform to assist in making the tripod level. There is a carry handle incorporated into the central tube that flexes flat and out of the way when not used. A hook at the bottom to hang a bag or add more weight for added stability. Two mounting plates for quick switching of devices. Bluetooth remote! Device holder is versatile by allowing both sides to be used for different sized devices. The list is almost interminable. I will say that contrary to another reviewer I had no problem leaving the head joint and adjustment handle attached and just folding it out of the way to make it fit in the included carry bag. This tripod is an amazing value for less than $30 and well worthy of it! Very highly recommend to anyone that is not in need of the highest professional requirements. ... show more

Many years ago, I had a tripod that had easy leg releases. Had this particular tripod for years, but could not find an adequate replacement until now. The Joilcan is a very worthy update. The Joilcan's price belies its quality. I was surprised with how solid the construction is. The pan head moves with ease and easily handles my Sony a6700 camera. I can also use another plate for my iPhone 16 Pro if need be. My favorite feature are the quick flip locks on the legs. My film shoots are usually done quickly as the actors are only available for a short time. I needed a tripod that allows me to setup fast and this Joilcan does the job. I was tired of unscrewing each and every dial on my old tripod to adjust that tripod. This is a very pleasant surprise and a good purchase. Just might buy a secondary Joilcan. ... show more

This is an impressive little tripod. It seems to be relatively well made, easy to assemble (first time). I purchased this to use for my spotting scope, it is a little heavier than your average camera, but it works well. It holds tight, and as far as i can tell, no risk of toppling over. The only flaw is the horizontal axis lock (Pan and tilt). If this has anything heavy (such as a spotting scope), the lock tends to give more than it should. I swapped direction on the quick release plate so it does not allow the tilt, so this is a quick fix for straight visibility. ... show more

Love this tripod - the legs are metal. They give you two camera-attach plates instead of one - which is very helpful. And there is a hook to hang your backpack or studio sandbag, which adds to the pod's stability. I usually have to jerry-rig this hook for windy field work so I appreciate this attention to detail. Also, they have designed the rig to allow any head (with a 3/4 inch bold) to attach. So if you have a fluid head, it will work with these legs. I wish the crankshaft was also metal and not plastic ... but I quibble - for the price, this is a super-value tripod - ideal for the new light DSL cameras. ... show more

Great tripod! Not the most sturdy thing in the world, it feels a bit cheap, but it is! I use this with my standard size projector and it works like a charm! It has all the adjustments you need! Love how compact it folds down, and how light it is! Love the bubble level too, such a nice touch!

We got this tripod, mostly for live streaming kids sports using a mobile phone. It's lightweight and fairly sturdy. It adjusts nice and high, which I like. The included head is not great quality. It did not work well for panning across the field and following the action. Not smooth and not really adjustable resistance. The handle is cheap, hollow plastic and broke off of the metal end that attaches to the head. I ended up buying a standalone fluid head which works great, but cost as much as this tripod did. You probably can find better value in the tripod / fluid head combo that cost a little more. ... show more
