  • Great Value
The media could not be loaded. This is a carbon fiber camera slide by Zecti, and it's a winner. This should be your first slider to get your feet wet in video creation. It's simple to setup and operate, while still being good enough to improve your hobby/craft. The build is robust and solid, especially the carrier mount plate setup...might say overbuilt. The tracking on mine is buttery smooth, and I was able to push the camera manually from side to side with enough precision so it doesn't look like I am doing it manually. With all things, practice makes perfect. I had a large ball head attached with my full frame Sony camera with an attached all metal Voigtlander 65mm lens. The slide had zero trouble handling the weight. This slider is a great place to start. I doubt you will find one better built for the coin being asked. You want more...then you will have to pay more. This is a great value. Recommended. ... show more

  • Perfect for travel
Small light and perfect for travel. Although while traveling I rather bring a gimble that I can simulate pretty much any slider shots, than bring a slider. This one is smooth and well built and yes, a fraction of a cost of a gimbal. So if you are on a budget and looking for a travel slider, this is the one. ... show more

  • Smooth and Silent!
When I first unboxed the Zecti 16" Adjustable Carbon Fiber Camera Slider, I was immediately impressed with the packaging. It was sleek and professional, giving an instant impression of quality. The scratch-resistant carrying bag was a nice touch, making it feel like a premium product even before I had laid hands on the slider itself. The slider itself is lightweight, weighing just 580 grams, and the carbon fiber construction is immediately apparent, lending it a sturdy yet lightweight feel. Setting it up was straightforward thanks to the clear instruction manual, and the multiple mounting options provided by the 1/4" & 3/8" screw holes were a boon, allowing for various shooting configurations. I tried it out with a Canon DSLR and a GoPro, and it supported both with ease. One of the standout features of the Zecti slider is its silent movement. The four precision bearings and double interior carbon fiber rail system worked together beautifully, ensuring smooth and quiet operation. This is crucial for video shoots where unwanted noise can be a deal-breaker. The slider glided effortlessly, providing stable and fluid motion that significantly enhanced the production quality of my videos. User-friendliness is another area where this product excels. It's compact enough to fit in my backpack, making it perfect for travel shoots. The ability to position it horizontally, vertically, or at an angle on a tripod adds to its versatility, catering to a wide range of shooting requirements. Whether I needed a straight horizontal shot or a dynamic angled one, the Zecti slider handled it all with aplomb. In terms of performance, the Zecti slider met and exceeded my expectations. It provided consistently smooth motion, which is essential for capturing professional-looking footage. Compared to other sliders I've used, it stands out for its combination of portability, build quality, and silent operation. Some sliders in this price range tend to feel flimsy or lack smooth motion, but the Zecti slider does not compromise on these fronts. However, no product is without its downsides. While the Zecti slider is highly functional, the instruction manual could be more detailed for beginners who might be using a camera slider for the first time. Additionally, the carrying bag, though scratch-resistant, could benefit from a bit more padding for added protection during travel. Overall, I believe the Zecti 16" Adjustable Carbon Fiber Camera Slider offers excellent value for money. Its top positives are its lightweight yet sturdy construction, smooth and silent operation, and versatile mounting options. The main areas for improvement would be a more detailed instruction manual and a more padded carrying bag. I would recommend this product to both amateur and professional photographers and videographers who need a reliable, portable slider for various shooting scenarios. It's ideal for anyone looking to enhance their video production quality without breaking the bank. ... show more

  • GOOD, BUT SHORT AS OTHERS HAVE SAID. BUILT WELL, NICE CARBON
I'VE USED SLIDERS FOR YEARS FOR PRODUCT SHOOTS OVER THE YEARS. BY THE TIME YOU SET EVERYTHING UP, 16 INCHES ARE NOT LONG ENOUGH. IT WORKS FINE, I LOVE THE CARBON LOOK FOR PICTURE OF GEAR. ALSO, MY SILDER WAS NOT NEW, BUT USED. 3 STARS FOR THAT REASON

  • An excellent slider that can be easily motorized
The media could not be loaded. This is a nice, inexpensive camera slider. It’s simple, lightweight and strong. Construction is anodized aluminum with carbon fiber rods. The platform stands about 60 mm above the surface and each foot can be unscrewed and lengthened up to a maximum of about 19 mm with the stabilizing locknuts in place. The bubble level makes leveling easy. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any mechanism such as eccentric screws to adjust the fit of the wheels to the rails if necessary, but the carriage travel has been silky smooth with stable tracking so far. The carriage lock screw is helpful but it can be annoying. The knurled knob screws onto a grub screw that actually locks onto the bar, but the knob is simply screwed on – perhaps added as an afterthought to eliminate the requirement for an allen wrench. That’s good, but after locking the carriage, you are just as likely to unscrew the knob as you are to unlock the carriage. Easy enough to fix with a little adhesive on the end of the grub screw, but that should have been done already. I was concerned initially that tightening against the rail might eventually lead to some deformation and affect travel, but the screw end is well padded and hits an area on the rail that is not in contact with the wheels so it should be fine. In addition to the main camera mount, there are two 1/4-20 and two 3/8-16 mounting holes on the carrier, with an additional one each on both ends and in the bottom plate. So plenty of tripod and accessory mounting options. The aligned end holes also make it easy to motorize the slider if you want. Belt systems are fine for normal horizontal use but in the vertical position with a heavier camera a leadscrew will work more reliably. Adding a leadscrew to this slider was as simple as boring out the two 3/8” holes in the ends to 14 mm and inserting bearings and a T-8 leadscrew. Attach a T-8 nut to one of the extra threaded holes in the camera mount with a 3D printed fitting, and move the bottom tripod plate down a little with 4 nylon spacers and that’s it. The video shows a test run. I like that this enables removing the motor system quickly whenever desired with no damage or residual changes to the manual slider except for the two 3/8” end holes which I would never use anyway, and one small hole in the camera mount added to attach the leadscrew nut. A zippered carrier bag is included which is lightly padded, has a small handle, and works fine. The one page user manual is useless, basically just naming the parts. It would be nice to provide some actual information such as how to attach the camera. Initially I thought I had to twist the camera onto the threaded post and only later realized that the post can be screwed onto the camera using a hex wrench from underneath. Overall though, this is a well made 16” slider and although I have only used it a few times so far, I expect it should hold up well over time. ... show more
