  • Great rail mount bracket for mounting accessories
I did not buy this to mount a grill. Instead, I used it to mount a stern light on my bimini. This is much better than the plastic options available.

  • Perfect for any small grill! With mods
Will update with pictures! Works perfect on our pontoon! Does not have to be used with the listed grill, if you're able to do some easy modifications with a drill and bit! We actually used bought 2 brackets and bought a small propane grill from Meijer for $40, drilled holes in the bottom of the grill in the same spots as the existing holes in the brackets, took out the provided thumb screws, and just used nuts and bolts! When not in use, we undo the brackets from the railing and put it away in a compartment on the pontoon! I have no problem loosening the 8 bolts on the railing side of the brackets to put it away. I would be able to use my shore cover if they stayed on and just took the grill off! We did try to use just one bracket with it this weekend, but we didn't like the unsturdiness of the grill with just a bracket in the middle. ... show more

  • Great product! Keep an eye on Hardware
Held my Kuma grill perfectly in place with very little worry while boating. Put my grill away and left the hardware in place with attached retaining clips while trailering home and that was a mistake......Hardware Gone on first trip. Not the companies fault just my flaw for not considering the loose hardware would shake free and fly off when not holding down the grill.. I will remove the hardware anytime I'm done with the Grill in the future. Company contacted to see about replacement hardware. ... show more

  • Works as intended
The mount is very secure and solid but the screw retainers suck mounted it and not even ten minutes into our cruise we lost one, went to ace hardware they had them in stock so I grabbed a couple extras, do yourself a favor and just store the thumb screw in the bbq not in the mount

  • Bang for the Bucks
This product was very sturdy and easy to put together and will hold its own weight. I was skeptical about slippage, but once you tightened it down on the bar, it will support the weight of the grill and food put on the grill.

  • Thumb screws not captured
No matter how captured the 2 mounting thumb screws look and feel, they are not. Both mine now sit at the bottom of the marina. Off to the hardware store. There is no included protection for your expensive rails. I wrapped many layers of electrical tape around the rail and am hoping for the best. I subtracted 1 star for making the thumb screws appear to be captured and another star for no rail protection included, or even suggested on the packaging. ... show more
