The directions weren't very detailed, but it is very easy to put together. I did it by myself in ~90 min. My first delivery didn't include the fireplace, but Amazon quickly fixed the issue. It is a very beautiful console, It goes great in the living room. Good instructions for assembly however one hinge was severely bent and had to be hammered out, as a result the door is not completely flush. And on that same door there were no starter holes for the wood screws, that was just a small pain. All in all I really like the piece and would recommend this seller and purchase this product again. One problem with the delivery...it was left on the street on a busy sf boulevard because I live on the third floor with no elevator. The delivery person wouldnt even ring mh doorbell. Amazon if it happens again it stays on the street, thats not a delivery! ... show more

I love this TV stand with fireplace. It is a great value for the price. The fire place is beautiful with the colors you can change and the heater puts out enough heat for a small room. However if you buy this you either need to know how to assemble furniture or have someone help you. Luckily I had a friend who put it together for me in about four hours. All the pieces were there but the instructions were mostly pictures so it took some effort. I am very happy. ... show more

I love this piece! It wasn't too hard to put together... there was a chip in the front panel (of course!) and it was missing one of the pieces for the shelf to be put in place but amazon was great in helping out! I'm very happy with this purchase!

Beautiful piece of furniture, not too difficult to put together, but did have some one assist. The box was really beat up, but no damage to the furniture. True to color, but did open windows when fireplace first used, as I noticed a slight chemical odor when the heater was turned. But, works great!

The quality of piece is phenomenal, much higher quality wood and metal fittings than you would find with similar priced furniture, it's very easy to put together and makes a great addition to our living room.
