Description

ARRIVED DAMAGE! Very disappointed considering the amount of money this cost. The top mantle piece is the most damaged. The company should send a replacement piece to the mantle or some kind of money back.. It looks cheaply made. I would have rather saved the money and bought a qaulity fireplace. Also it's not very sturdy and the screw pins that came with it would not screw into the holes. ... show more

The product came well packed and it was fairly easy to assemble. It is a beautiful piece and the heat works well. BUT, the lights on the logs stopped working after about four months. I purchased it in October 2020 and by late February 2021 the lights stopped working. The flame still works but the logs are the majority of the lights in the fireplace. So, even with the flame working, it just doesn't put much light out at all. So, that pretty much takes the whole "fireplace" illusion and idea out of it all together. I've tried to email the company several times and can't get any support whatsoever. I've even tried to see if I could fix it but I can't. So, I would not recommend this product to anyone. It's expensive and for it to malfunction like that within such a short amount of time, is unacceptable. If the company would read this and make make things right, I would update my review, which would be really nice if they did. ... show more

The weight of this thing is a testament to the quality of it. We have no concerns that this isn't going to last for years to come. The ability to change the flames color is a great feature but what we didn't know about was that you can adjust the brightness as well. The heat it kicks out is decent. We haven't had it running for more than 20 minutes or so but when I was close to it I definitely noticed it was kicking some heat out. From a size perspective it is the width we were looking for. If any anspect of the size could change I think we would like it to be deeper. No reason for it to impact the score, it looks great! I have two things I wish it had but would likely impact the price. I'd like to to be able to have smart home integration and a speaker. We put a Google speaker inside it so we have the smart speaker portion but I'd like to be able to control the flame, heat, brightness, on / off with my phone / voice. It's a real product but be sure you have a couple people when it comes time to bring it into your home and that you have somewhere for the cardboard / foam packaging to go once you've unpacked it because it's very well packaged (lots to recycle / pitch) ... show more

Be aware that when you purchase this, it does not even remotely match the color in the picture for the walnut one. That was a true disappointment and I did purchase some stain to get the color I want to match my furniture. It is sturdy and was easy for one person to put together. The remote could be better and actually pauses Netflix shows if I have them both running. The "fire" is relaxing and looks real. The heat is not the best but I mostly purchased for decoration. If the color matched the picture, I would have given 4 stars. The piece was also slightly damaged, which, I did not notice until the last step. To return it meant a lot of hassle and I was only given one day to return. ... show more

When I ordered this there was only 2 reviews, so with that here is what I experienced and why I am only giving it a 3 star and not a 1 or 2. Pros: Very heavy, this is a lot thicker then I thought it would be. The design and over all color is beautiful. The fireplace works perfect, I love the multi color changing backlight. It really makes our Florida living room feel more cozy and doesn’t take up the whole room. Here is where it gets tricky, Cons: The shipping box was not damaged but the top trim was broken off in 2 pieces and laid in the box outside the plastic the rest was wrapped in. (Some wood glue and time, fixed it. As returning would be too much of a hassle due to weight and repacking) so I start putting it together and realize there are scratches and scrapes all over. 🤦♀️ Again returning would take more effort then I have at this point, so I used wood markers and wood fix kits and matched the color to fix it. The whole process took 4 hours to put together except the top, the wood glue had to be clamped on all night to set. The finished product looks great, with some handy work we made it work. Over all: I would not spend this kind of money again on something that looked like it was used and broken. If you are handy and don’t mind the extra effort to make it look like it should have when you received it then this is the product for you. So, my fireplace showed up two days after I ordered it. It wasn't supposed to come for three weeks and two days later, it's here. I was so excited I couldn't wait to get started putting it together. I located the assembly instructions and realized it was so easy to assemble I grabbed my electric screw driver and got started. First, the boxes the fireplace arrived in was extremely heavy duty and the pieces were very adequately packed and marked. I let the styrofoam pieces go wherever and tackled that with a vacuum cleaner later. The instructions were very easy to follow and it took this 56 year old woman 1 hour to assemble; alone. As you can see in the picture, the fireplace is super sturdy and the fire is exactly what I thought it would be. The only modification I will make is to paint the decoration on the front black to match my furniture. I would highly recommend this product. (The reflection in the glass is a cow skin rug) Update: 5 months later and still a 5 star product. We didn't buy the fireplace for its heating capabilities, most homes are too large for the heating element to make a difference, but the look is beautiful and the flames are beautiful.
