  • 10K, 12K, 15K, half marathons, and more!
Color: Pink Size: Small/Medium
I've been an avid runner for decades and an amateur triathlete for 2 years. I've tried compression socks before, however wearing them during distance runs gave me foot pain and blisters. I find anti-blister, sweat-wickering socks are MUCH more important to stay injury free. So I found these calf sleeves to still use my preferred socks while getting the better circulation that comes with compression. My first purchase were a size small in purple. They were a little weird to try at first but I soon learned to LOVE them! I'm 5'7" and I'd say I have semi-larger calves than those of same weight, but I find the small fits perfectly! My first race with them was the Seattle Marathon where I got a significant PR. A week later I ran a 12K...then 15K... then another half marathon. I typically would have longer gaps between races, but I attribute compression sleeves to keeping my muscles happy for back-to-back runs. I now have these in Purple, Orange, and Pink. I know I probably shouldn't, but I machine wash them. I do NOT throw them in the dryer though...they dry hanging in my bathroom. Still ALL 3 pairs have held up well and are just as compression fitted and color rich months later. I will attach pictures from races last Dec to March. I have yet to try these in a triathlon as I feel they would take too long to put on during transition (as compression-anything typically should). I'm guessing it'll take practice. ;-) Overall I'm VERY happy and just might purchase more colors... 🙂❤🧡💛💚💙💜🖤 **Update: It's now August 3rd (near 10-ish months since my first pair), and I'm still in love with ALL my compression sleeves. They are holding up well through time, runs, and washes. My newest pair is white to match a new pair of Nike's. Happy running out there! ... show more

  • Helps Prevent "Exercise-Induced Vasculitis" for the Camino!
Color: White Size: Large/X-Large
While I was training, hiking, especially on hard roadway surfaces, I would come home with painful, red, vasculitis on my calves & shins. Having auto-immune issues, my Rheumatologist told me to stop walking. No, that is not going to happen as I am training to Walk the Camino de Santiago! What else can I do? I was advised to take Loratadine, an OTC antihistamine, before I walked, wear compression socks & ice & elevate when I return home. I found these calf socks which worked great. I made sure they were socks nurses use because they are on their feet all day. My sister, a nurse, encouraged me to get them too. I ordered full socks but liked the calf wraps instead. I walked the Camino with two pairs and did great! No vasculitis! I've seen runners wear them. I highly recommend this product. For care, I just washed them in the sink and air dry. ... show more

  • Made in Taiwan - there's a difference!
Color: Black Size: Large/X-Large
I've recently been training for a half marathon and ignored the "Too Rule" - Too far, Too fast, Too soon. Something that is common for new runners or for runners that run "as they were rather than how they are today". I am guilty of the latter, and thought once you've earned running legs you keep them. Nope. So, I've reduced by mileage since I have shin splints, and I heard good things about calf sleeves helping with comfort while running and that you can also keep them on post-workout for healing properties. I'm not a doctor, but I can tell you if I feel a difference in the level of discomfort. I am pleased to report that these calf sleeves do feel like they help. They seemed to have reduced the discomfort from the shin splints and also some soreness on my calf muscle. I've used these for my last 3 runs (ranging 4-6 miles each) and I feel more confident, where before I consciously slowed my pace as a natural reaction to try to save my legs from impact damage. I bought these Blitzu calf sleeves along with another similarly priced pair of calf sleeves just to compare, since this was my first time using sleeves. The Blitzu are made in Taiwan and have a heavier fabric density and more stretch. The other pair I tried were made in China and they had a dense weave, but the fabric was definitely more lightweight. Since the Blitzu sleeves have a heavier fabric, they feel like they apply more compression warmth and force. My calves measure just slightly above 15.5", and the L/XL fits perfectly. I only hand wash and line dry these sleeves. It's easy to put them on if you flip them inside out, pull on the ankle end, and the roll the sleeve up your leg. For size reference, I'm 5'10" and 175lbs. I definitely prefer not running with calf sleeves during the summer, but it makes my legs feel better so why not take the aide! ... show more

  • Perfect!!
Color: Pink Size: Small/Medium
I am a nurse and am on my feet ALL DAY long! These are so nice because you don't necessarily have to wash them every day unlike the full sock ones. I actually prefer to wear my own socks as well. After you buy them, you will get an email about how to put them on, VERY helpful!! The compression is the perfect amount at such a low price:))) ... show more

  • No more shin splints
Color: Black Size: Small/Medium
Pro's: -comfortable -effective -fit well -cute I bought these calf sleeves because I run about 18 miles a week indoors and outdoors and gets chronic shin splints. I was concerned about the size because I am a 5-2 petite woman. I was pleasantly surprised to find that these sleeves actually fit very well. I think they would also be suitable for a man or a bigger person because they're pretty stretchy. Regarding my shin splints, the ones in my right leg went away and I have occasional shin splints in my left leg. However, they are not nearly as bad and do not occur nearly as often as they do if I don't wear these. Hand wash with mild detergent. Would buy again! ... show more
