I have two kittens and I bought this for them. The circle they lay in is already broken and I bought this kitty tower about 2 and a half weeks ago. The kittens are only 6 months old. However it was very easy to put together.

The JAOXISOU Cactus Cat Tree is very easy to assemble with or without the instructions. Came with a thorough manual sheet and all the necessary hardware to assemble. At first the JAOXISOU Cactus Cat Tree did seem like a flimsy piece of cat furniture. Once I started assembling, it became apparent just how great the quality is. From the base to the fabric cactus, each part is made from a variety of materials that are nice and strong. Any materials needed to repair the JAOXISOU Cat Tree can be found at a local craft store. Making keeping this amazing cat tree in good shape, easy.The JAOXISOU Cactus Cat Tree would work for kittens and medium size cats. My oldest is a bit of a chonker and the scratcher part is all that she is interested in. My three youngest fur kids enjoy lounging on and playing with the entire cactus cat tree. This 30” cat tree with sisal covered scratching post is the perfect size for my cats (they weigh between 8 and 12 pounds). It was quick and easy to assemble, and they warmed up to it right away. I think it is now their favorite place to play and sleep! If you are thinking of purchasing this cat tree and have a larger cat, I would check the measurements before purchasing it to make sure it’s big enough. This cactus cat tree is very goodlooking sitting in my parent's living room but unfortunately, my cat won't use it. It's been three weeks and she's yet to take an interest in it. I was hoping for a light use temporary tree for her to scratch on instead of our living room carpet. The tree itself looks like a very usable cat tree that would interest most normal cats except for fussy ones like mine. It was very easy to put together and I didn't need to use the illustrated instructions. It's very lightweight compared to a similarly sized cat tree my kitty uses at home. The only portion of the tree I was concerned about was the round bucket as l felt that it was a rather thin cardboard and not at all well padded. The price of this item is on the low side so I wouldn't complain about that but I would just layer some extra padding or blankets there. The rope scratch pole looked tightly wound and should serve scratchy claws. The upper step looked more sturdy and felt woodlike. The base looks wide enough so it won't tip over. Overall, it appears that it's designed for calmer cats but can be destroyed by very rambunctious ones. The price is very low for this tree and the quality seems to reflect that price point. I based my rating on this product for the quality of the product itself and not on the whim of my cat which can change at any time. ... show more

The picture shows a kitten for a reason, because this thing is pretty small. Assembly is dirt simple, I think I had this put together in about 5 minutes, with no additional tools. I really love the aesthetic of this cat tower, much better than your average beige carpet and rope cat tower. My small cat started using it right away, but it's definitely too small for my other medium/large cat. If you have a new kitten, or a little runt this thing will be great. ... show more

This is a cute cat tree overall. It is easy to put together and looks good with my decor. It is also very sturdy. It does have a kind of chemical smell when you take it out of the box. Due to its size it may be best suited for smaller cats or kittens.

The media could not be loaded. I will definitely say for sure that this is cute. My cat took to it right away, but the pictures were very deceiving making it look a lot bigger than it actually is. I probably never would’ve gotten it if I had known it was this small. My cat is medium sized and barely can stand on the ledge. She doesn’t sleep in the round part but does use it during playing. She attacks the cactus part during play and her claws have gotten stuck in that material. I haven’t seen her scratch her claws on it, even though it’s supposed to be for that as well. She uses her old scratching posts for that. I would just pay attention to the size to be sure your cat will be able to use it. It’s a lot smaller than that photo they are using with a cat bigger than mine. It was very easy to put together and everything screw tightly with the added allen wrench. ... show more
