  • TELESCOPIC POOL POLE:Our pool cleaning pole has a three-stage design. You can easily lock the length of the pole in place by rotating the non-slip external locking cam and keep the length from sliding during use. The length can be extended from 4.4 feet to 12 feet. In addition to convenient storage, It can also provide you with the extra range you need when cleaning a wide and deep swimming pool, suitable for most ground and above-ground swimming pools.
  • SUPERIOR QUALITY: This telescopic pole for swimming pool cleaning is made of premium 1mm thick aluminum, which is not easy to rust, corrosion-resistant and light in weight. It also has a non-slip corrugated design, which makes cleaning your swimming pool easier. The high-quality swimming pool pole is not easy to bend and deform, can save you the cost of frequent pole changes.
  • EASY TO USE: There are two additional holes on the pole, which have the effect of draining water and preventing the siphon effect, making it easier for you to sink the pole into the water. The ripples on the handle can increase friction, allowing you to hold it firmly when cleaning the pool.
  • Universal Accessory Attachment Size:Buyplus pool skimmer pole is designed with a 1-1/4" diameter connecting end, which is the general size required for quick installation of standard size swimming pool maintenance accessories, such as pool cleaning net, skimmer, rake, brush, vacuum head, hammerhead cleaner, rescue hook and etc.

  • Collapsible swimming pool accessory pole (only)
This extendable pole has three roughly 4' telescoping sections, so it collapses to a length just over 4' for shipping and storage, but it can be extended to 12'. The working end has a standard 1'-1/4" diameter and standard hole placement and diameter to accept a common cleaning accessory such as brush head or net. However, note that this product does NOT come with any accessories, even though a 19" brush head was included in the "Product Description" section near the end of the product listing when I ordered it. For my pool, I have currently have and use three accessories (wide and narrow brushes and a leaf net) but only two poles (a 12' and an 8'), so I wanted an economical third pole so I don't have to frequently swap heads. I mean "economical" compared to what you pay in a pool store for a similar length pole. This telescoping pole fits the bill. The pole is advertised as being "heavy duty" and in my photo you can see that the metal thickness of the working end of the new 12' pole (on the right) looks like it might be slightly larger than that of my old "pool store" 12' pole (on the left). But keep in mind that the old pole has over 10 years of wear on it, and I didn't have an instrument to actually measure the thickness. At first, I thought another way to compare the thickness, albeit indirectly, would be to compare the two 12' poles' weights. Well, surprisingly the new "heavy duty" pole was 1.6lb while the old one was heavier at 1.8lb. Both appear to have a similar amount of plastic (weight) in the handles, and the aluminum in the old one is certainly no thicker than in the new one, so what's going on? I finally realized that it was due to a fundamental difference in construction, and that's important to understand if you purchase this pole. My 12' "pool store" pole has just two sections, 8' to the working end and another 4' telescoping section to the handle. The new pole of course has three 4' sections, and the result is that the two 4' sections closest to the handle have a smaller diameter -- and less weight -- than the corresponding lengths in my "pool store" pole. Those smaller diameters probably also result in the new pole having less strength than a "professional" pole, as some reviewers have commented. I didn't notice any problem, but I didn't test this pole with a really heavy leaf load (too bad I didn't have it a month ago). The new pole's ability to be collapsed down to about 4' saves shipping and other costs and undoubtedly contributes to its overall lower price than a 2- or even 1-section "pool store" pole of the same maximum length. I feel that the low cost of this pole is worth a little loss in strength, since you can always collapse it to a shorter length for more strength, or use it at full length for light-duty work only, and invest in a much more expensive pool-store pole if your situation demands it for some jobs. On a final note, I noted that the telescoping mechanism (pictured) includes a collar with beveled edges that should hold the tube tight against the inside of the threaded coupling as it is tightened. In using the pole, I did not experience the brush or net head rotating relative to the handle end of the pole, which can happen with my old poles if the coupling isn't hand tightened enough. ... show more

  • Stores Easily
As a kid, I remeber seeing those twelve foot long pool cleaning poles. This one is better in that it is only four feet long, yet can be extended to 12 feet. Fully extended, it is not quite as strong as a one piece unit, but you gotta give up something to get the ability to make it much smaller. My guess is that if you take a modicum of care, this will last for years. The plastic fittings could degrade if left in the sun, so I will store mine in a covered shed. ... show more

  • Good Quality Pool pole
This pole is a quality pole just as good as you'd find in any pool store. Its strong and sturdy. I use it to pull out a pretty heavy pool robot vacuum and it doesn't flinch. We also get a lot of leaves from trees above my pool and I can get a good amount in the net with no issues of the pole flexing or anything like that. I would definitely purchase again. ... show more

  • Great option for economical telescoping pool accessory pole
We inherited two poles with tools for the pool when we bought our house and almost 6 years later they're showing signs of extreme age. Aluminum based poles last an incredibly long time even in the salty, hot, humid air but they always have plastic parts that don't make it quite as long as the pole. I bought this pole to replace the oldest of our aluminum poles that is down to just two nesting aluminum poles without a single piece of plastic left on them. I like that these are a quality grade of aluminum, ribbed for added strength and are lightweight. I like they they will last for years given the elements and I do like the fact that these are three sections so they store better than my existing two section pole. I have started using my poles as single purpose tools so one is for the robot hook, one for the brush and one for the net. This one seems to work best with the brush head because beyond 8' it's not quite as sturdy as it is at 8' and smaller. As a brush only unit, even at full extension it works pretty well though frankly I don't need to extend it beyond 6-8' to use the brush head. I would have given this another star but the instability beyond 8' limits its use and the fact that it has a very nice but plastic set of locking collars means the UV here in Florida will eventually disintegrate those and it'll be a set of three nesting poles. The only saving grace is that it's shorter length means I can store it inside a long deck box when its dry and extend its lifespan. Overall a good product at a reasonable price and will work just fine for quite a bit less than most of the poles I've seen. Worth the purchase. ... show more

  • It's reasonably sturdy to 8 ft (2 extensions) and much less so with 3rd extension to 12 ft.
This is a decent pick for homeowner use to 8 ft and for very light duty occasional use to 12 ft. I certainly would not call it "professional" grade. However, its also much lower cost than more heavy duty "professional" models. I use a pool service but I also like to skim and brush occasionally and this will work fine for that purpose as I rarely need to go beyond 8 feet. I would not recommend if you routinely need a sturdy pole longer than 8 ft. ... show more

  • great pole, light but strong
This is a very good pole. It is light but strong. Connects with brush, leaf basket or whatever your needs. It extends and is comfortable in your hands while using. I love it.

  • Looks nice and lightweight
I'm using this pole to replace a blue one that was left by the previous owners of my house. I attached the skimmer head to this pole and it looks and works great. It's significantly lighter than the one I am replacing. My pool is on the smaller side at 9.3K gallons so I don't need to extend it fully, but if I did there would be significant flex and I'd need a gentle touch to ensure it doesn't break. Perfect my pool. ... show more
