This little tray has already won awards abound from me. I usually would purchase little pots or the pellet trays to start my seeds; no longer! These are sturdy, and the flexible base to pop out each cell is SO easy to use! It came in several sizes, I purchased the large ones. They're fairly inexpensive, and I imagine it will pay for itself within one or two seasons! It holds plenty of water, and I recommend using coco coir and an amendment in the cells. It's performed well for me so far, and as a bonus it's easy to move from one place to the next. I only wish it had a humidity topper, but I will keep it in the Martha tent till they come up with one. ... show more

I bought this because I like that it is reusable and you can start a lot of seeds at once. It is very easy to use and easy to get the seedlings out when it is time to transplant them. I like the tray on the bottom for watering. The rows and columns have letters and numbers, so it is easy to track which seedlings you planted. I would just suggest writing it down so you don't forget. I recommend this and have bought another since this purchase ... show more

I like these seed-starting trays very much. So far I have had beautiful seedlings with great root systems for my kitchen garden. My one disappointment is that I received a tray with a cracked bottom tray, which I returned and got a replacement for without a hassle. I guess I am simply curious to see how long the bottom water reservoir trays hold up! If Burpee pays any attention to these reviews, I hope they take note and make a sturdier bottom tray for an ultimate product. That being said, I think the price point for these trays is fair and reasonable, and maybe a sturdier plastic would increase the price too much. I normally use a soil blocker to make 100s of tiny soil blocks in the spring. Those are really great, but the soil blocking process is strenuous, and these trays feel so easy compared to that. I think I will still use the soil blocker when I make my initial sowings of lots of garden plants in the spring, and these trays will be perfect during the summer for succession sowings. ... show more

Sturdy, and the size is what I wanted. The only thing I missed from reading the description is that it doesn’t have a cover, but that was my fault. I just put Saran Wrap over it and it still worked.

These trays work wonders! They are super easy to use, come with a little chart that you can mark which spaces you filled with what. There are raised letters and numbers on each column and row of the tray so it makes it easy to see what you planted. The trays have flexible silicone bottoms that make it easy to pop out the transplant when you're ready and the tray it sits on can be used for bottom watering which is very handy. I've had between 80-100% success with germination across multiple types of seeds with these trays this year, would highly recommend just beware: this size tray is the only one that made it to me completely intact, the other size trays arrived broken and had to be replaced. ... show more

Overall, these worked well I like the flexible bottom to help push the seed starts up and out when it’s time for transplanting. What I was not thrilled about is after sitting in my shed over the summer the edges became brittle and are snapping off, leaving some pretty sharp spots in places
