  • Smart design and a great product
Size: Pack of 9
I've owned a '17 Colorado for 2.5 years now and about 50% of the time I load something, I'm wanting more tie-down location options than the 4 factory loops (ever forget to attach your straps to at least one BEFORE you loaded the bed full and then try to reach down to them?), but didn't want to have to mount fixed rings that protruded into the bed. I can't believe I didn't think to look for retractable anchors earlier, these would have saved me a lot of hassle. The anchors were easy to install and seem well built. They fit fine in my bed with a factory drop-in liner. The only issue I noticed is that the liner at the head of the bed has a small bump around the three cut outs which requires hooks to be placed from underneath on those rings, but that has nothing to do with the design of these anchors. If your straps have thinner hooks, you may be able to use them on top. You'll probably find these will become indispensable. I used them the night after I installed them, after loading up the bed with some plywood sheets, some 8 & 10 ft sticks pipe lengths, without having to run the straps BEFORE loading up. ... show more

  • 2015 silverado with painted on bedliner
Size: Pack of 9
The media could not be loaded. Easy Installation with a Few Simple Tools I recently installed these truck bed anchors and was impressed by how easy it was. I used a drill to make the necessary holes and a sharp knife to cut the plastic/liner out of the anchor ovals. Once the holes were drilled and the ovals were cut, I was able to install all 9 anchors quickly without any hassle. The anchors fit securely and are sturdy. Highly recommend these if you're looking for a straightforward installation and reliable anchors for your truck bed! ... show more

  • Worked well with a cargo net.
Size: Pack of 9
Installed 9 in 15 minutes. Easy install. Traveled with a medium load and hooked a cargo net to the anchors via carabiner. Worked very well. I did not put any kind of strenuous load on them. I have not latched a ratchet strap to these anchors yet. When pulled out and click in they stay out. Tap them and they retract. I do like these. Good purchase. ... show more

  • Good, but not perfect
Size: Pack of 2 Pair
Installed these on my Truck, and so far no problems. Thoughts - One of the hooks is Noticeably stiffer than the others getting it in and out. Not a problem, just an observation. 1 of the 4 Pieces was still "Loose" in the hole after tightening the screw all the way. No matter how far i attempted to turn the locking screw down, the anchor was easily shifted around in the hole using no more than my fingers. As it turns out, this was due to the "Gap" between the front plate, and metal backer being a little too wide. There was too much material on the plastic front plate, preventing the metal backer from coming up tight with the sheet metal. A loose tie down in is a problem waiting to happen, so i ended up needing to do a little extra work. I was able to add a shim under the front plate To essentially solve the issue, but i shouldn't have had to do that, so i did dock a star. Aside from that, my main concern for these is more of a concern about the sheet metal on the truck. When Properly installed, (Make sure you angle the hooks UP so that you aren't attempting to "Bend" them up when you tie stuff down) The weakest point is more than likely the truck bed sheet metal itself. These should be relatively sturdy, all things considered. ... show more

  • Fits 2024 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 oval bed holes
Size: Pack of 2 Pair
After crossing my fingers that these would fit, I can now confirm that they fit and work great on a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. But it’s tricky getting them mounted. Obviously take the plastic plug out of the truck’s oval hole that you want to put the bull ring into. On the Bullring, you have to first take the screw out completely. Then put the back through the hole threading the top of the silver steel plate through first and wiggling it until the whole silver steel plate is through the hole. Then pull out the ring holding the whole thing in place. Then hand screw the screw back into the bullring with your other hand. Tighten it up with a screwdriver. ... show more

  • Great tie downs, super easy installation!
Size: Pack of 9
I'm impressed! I bought these over the GM ones because they can retract when not in use, as the GM ones would occasionally be in the way. They sit nearly flush when retracted and easily snap into the open position when needed. Installation was extremely easy and the whole set of 9 took less than 15 minutes. Despite having some plastic in the construction, they seem plenty strong and the metal backing plate would prevent a pull through if the plastic broke. Also of note, they do fit the 2024 GM HD truck beds even though Amazon's fitment guide says they don't. ... show more

  • Finally! something that really works!
Size: Pack of 9
For the past couple of years I have (quietly) cursed the lowly tie downs GM laughingly installed in the beds of the Silverado and Sierras. they are fairly worthless at holding important things like propane tanks and gas cans, batteries, just about anything that is taller than 8 inches from the floor.Oh, sure, they provided the holes, and, sure, you can hook a tie down into the hole, but then the hole usually deforms and, well, the holes are ugly. And what if I forgot my tie downs? Surely I could use some rope to tie off the unsecure load... nope. not unless said load is six inches tall with a low center of gravity. Well, Hold the phone! These Bullrings are the cats pajamas! These are the tie downs Chevrolet should install when built. They are super easy to install, it took about 15 minutes to install all nine. My truck has the factory spray in bedliner though, so I didn't have to deal with with the issue others have posted about. , They are very intelligently designed, very well made and look like they are an OEM part after they are installed. Finally, an affordable solution to an age old problem of where to attach a tie down. ... show more
