Came well packaged. Smelled a little weird when opened so I let them breathe awhile in the garage. Didn't bother with the 2way stickers provided. I went with command strips. The surface of these tiles are porous so I affixed 2 to each tile and laid a heavy flat board on them overnight while they sat on the floor. Put them up on the wall the next day and they haven't budged since. The mosaic painting looks good in my room and definitely helped reduce the slappy echoes. Very cool for the price. ... show more

    • They are OK from a distance.
They look decent when you step into the room but the closer you get the rougher they look. The lines match up pretty well but there’s a lot of fuzz at the ends helping to catch your eye. Used a lint device I have to to remove the fuzzy spots. You may have to force a really tight fit in some spots to get the best look. On two occasions the material overlapped just a bit with the lines flush. A little force in the direction of the “joint” will pop it into place and will look perfect at that point. The adhesive is flat out terrible so I replaced with some 3M 1” squares I had. Getting adhesive that will stay on the wall is a necessity if you have to remove and readjust so don’t skimp on the double sided adhesive. I bought these for aesthetics only so I had no expectations for any sort of echo reduction (I don’t have much, if any to begin with) or a way to reduce the sound heard from the outside of my home (it does not). If the price was reduced on these I would’ve given a higher score. It’s a little expensive for what it is. If you wanted to save some money you could build a slat wall that looks very similar to this for a fraction of the cost. ... show more

I highly recommend leaving these in the garage unboxed for a week before installing them, to allow the smell to dissipate. They provide some sound absorbancy and a nice background for any tv or pc setup

It blocks a bit of sound from me talking to the next room over, makes it more muffled and a bit quieter.. The painting looks awesome and makes a great painting for my setup. If these panels were to come without picture i would not buy them for sound dampening into another room, but i know its mainly for reverb. Since my room is already packed to the brim with stuff i didnt notice a difference. But if you have not much in it and its a decent sized room im sure you will. ... show more

These were absolute pain in the butt to hang. We bought two packs which with the instruments on the wall filled our 10x10 room, we had to makeshift the hanging using hooks and some wire on the back to leave some space. This took a good 4 hrs to do, and on top of it spending around $160. I will say these are decent quality and do improve the sound issue we’ve been having especially since adding a sound window curtain. These are more affordable than some that I’ve seen and they definitely look a lot cleaner as well. Further quality however I do wish they had a hanging mechanism. This would’ve helped so much since we have popcorn walls and ceilings. Product looks fantastic, but does do a lot helping to absorb sounds. I bought the largest size for a small office room with a bad echo, and while it brought a very cool piece of art into the room, the echo issue hasn’t changed much.
