  • I had High Hopes
Style: Camera + Housing
I previously tried the TLC130.. want a long time-lapse that can do sunsets, sunrises and potentially capture for a few days on storms... more image quality than construction stuff... anyhow, the TLC130 wasn't great on image, sensor is small, colors blocky so chatted with he manufacture and they said this is the best sensor one... well goto YouTube and look for TLC2020 test ... I have a few up there.. 1. full daylight its passable but nowhere near as good as even my phone 2. Nightlight is trash .. not sure why its so bad but I was stunned 3. Image clarity no better than the 130. basically these cameras are designed for construction, can time-lapse large images but if your a photo kinda person and looking for something that isn't leaving you DSLR unattended and don't want to leave you phone then you are SOL sadly... I would reccomend both cameras so long lapses, gr8 battery management and daylight etc ... ... show more

  • Incredible quality time lapse videos.
Style: Camera + Housing
I have used multiple Brinno 720 P time lapse cameras over the years. They work well but they are not high enough resolution for my construction business. I just purchased this 1080 P TLC 2020 and used it on my first job. The clarity of the time lapse video is incredible to say the least. I am purchasing another TLC 2020 so I can do time lapse videos from multiple angles. This unit is also much easier to change the settings than the older model. I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • SDcard Door
Style: Camera + Housing
I think this camera is great in function, but not completely thought out; great quality, and I appreciate the quick menu options. Cons, price of course. And for the price, I would expect the chassis to be waterproof; it's a shame this is an afterthought, and the necessity to purchase a case required to partake in the events that I believe is the majority of consumers intent (outdoor documentation). In addition to the case issue, I literally had this camera 1 minute, and the SDcard/USB-C cover broke off. A better fixation solution should be considered here. ... show more

  • Construction Movies
Style: Camera + Housing
Bought for recording our home construction. A little clunky to operate, but good results. Had an issue with a firmware update, but Brinno was all over it and sent a replacement quickly. Very happy.

  • Didn’t record a single thing
Style: Camera + Housing
Despite reading every instruction, testing and retesting, after I reloaded the batteries and pressed record it didn’t record our house being built. Can’t express how disappointed I am. No idea what went wrong but I consider myself quite technical and somehow I failed at this.

  • Works but the UX isn't great
Style: Camera
Used for a few large construction project time-lapses. The lack of in-camera playback along with poor menu design makes it a less-than-stellar product. Still, it has a longer battery than a go-pro..

  • Good camera, needs more interval options & downloadable program.
Style: Camera
This would be 5 stars if it came with a program to load the videos on to. You have to download a program to see your videos and usually it has a watermark embedded into the video unless you purchase said program. Would be nice to have more interval options also.

  • Not the best
Style: Camera
Picture quality is quite low and the battery life is definitely not 90 days maybe 20-30 days it takes 4 AA battery’s. I would suggest that you buy a different product.
