Very easy to use, all ingredients came ready to go excited to see how the beer turns out in a few weeks. Great price for a 5 gallon ingredients kit. This is the second time around using brewers best kits, previous brews turned out fantastic. Process takes about 3 hours (minus cleaning and prep) and would recommend theses kits over getting the ingredients at a home brew store until you are more advanced. The Witbier contained more grain comparatively to the imperial blonde ale that we were doing at the same time. Be mindful all kits are different in how much grain, timing, heating, etc. ... show more

    • Phenomenal Kit
I have some prior experience home brewing meads for several years now, so i wanted to try something new. Brewing beers is much more involved, but the process was so fun. This kit had great instructions, and my batch after primary fermentation tasted exactly as you would expect a witbier to taste. Simply fantastic. My particular wort fermented on the quicker aide, right at 4 days and ended with a 5.18%ABV. Id recommend these kits to any and everyone. Just understand that it’s an involved process and you will likely need to purchase additional equipment to ferment, boil, and bottle with. So my buddies and I used this kit as a basis to make a lemon witbeir. Holy smokes it came out amazing. We brew exactly as on the directions and added zest/juice from 6 lemons at flame out and 4 more lemons worth of zest/juice when racking to the secondary. The is definitely a great tasting wheat beer and the lemon absolutely put it over the top. I love these simple kits and then adding my own spin on them while refining my process. So I bought this brew kit here on Amazon and went with this one due to the price. After brewing it I added fresh blood oranges and it came out amazing! I even entered this and another beer into a local home brew contest and this Witbier got 1st place! So if you are wanting a Hef or Wheat beer type I would recommend this one. If you add some fresh oranges then expect it to be even better....good luck and keep brewing your thing! ... show more

    • Good summer beer
This is my fourth brew kit, so im not an expert. Just popped my first bottle last night and the taste is what i was expecting and the flavors are still young ao i expect it to become more flavorful the longer it sits. The color is a tad darker than i was expecting, but that could be user error. I love the brewers best kits and for a begginner you cant go wrong. Easy to follow instructions, all the ingredients and materials packed into one kits...how can you go wrong. Plus how cool is it to tell family and friends you made this beer. ... show more

    • Easy Kit For Great Beer
Everything except equipment is included in this kit. We added extra orange essence and ended up with a great Blue Moon clone. I would buy this kit again.

    • Came out really good
If you've been brewing a while this is an easy brew to make. The bitter orange peel looked a little moldy though... Didn't affect the flavor in a bad way. Wasn't sure about it until it was too late. would get again but might add more spice to it. Still a great beer and a great kit.
