After reading the reviews I figured it was worth the risk for the price. Turns out these are very sturdy and work well. Has go through 4 brew days with anything from 5lbs grains for partial mash to a 13lbs big beer all grain. No rips and can still do more. Drains very easy and cleans out easily as well. I made a cider press using a hydraulic jack. The sacks I was using kept ripping. I bought these nylon bags, they have worked perfectly. They were larger than what I needed but that posed no problem. The holes were large enough to allow the juice to pass through easily yet small enough to keep pulp from passing through. We did 40 gallons of apple cider in 6 hours. I use these for making large batches of cheese. They are good quality and after several uses there are no rips or tears. Makes it very easy to pop it in the cheese pot pour the milk in, and then just lift it out to hang and drain!

I read that they were big… I saw the numbers… but to put it in plain English… these bags are about the size of a pillowcase… maybe a little smaller..I was shocked but it actually worked out. I purchased them to make Cacao juice and wine but I also make chocolate…so I put the cacao nibs in a turkey roasting aluminum pan and the entire thing fit inside of the bag without any problem and I was able to leave it in the sun completely protected to dry. But for the price these are awesome. They would probably make a crazy amount of oat or almond milk also. But if you are looking for a normal size bag, these are not.
