I have a drop toe due to spinal disc pressing on the nerve. I will use this to hold my big toe in the upward position so when I front kick in Karate class it will not get in the way. The ball of foot is what strikes the target in a front kick and the toes are always pulled back out of the way. Have a sore big toe from quick take offs during tennis. Need some support so I don’t bend it back so much. That said, it seemed this brace would help and it does, however I have thin ankles and felt the small size would fit well. I can barely attach the Velcro so it stays put. It’s not very comfortable around the toe either. If you give it a try you might want to get a larger size ... show more

I had a severe MTP joint sprain. I tried several solutions. But tape and moleskin-based solutions did not stay on well (sweaty feet) and many other solutions were bulky or made things difficult. My son has turf toe and this brace is good for him to wear at school so he doesn't have to have his toe wrapped all day. Easy to use and comfortable, he hasn't had any problems with it. He is able to readjust it if he needs to during the school day.
