Purchased for customizing my evolving solar system habit. PROS: crimper works well, though has a teenie release tang inside the handle in case you need to pre-release on your crimp. Spanners (pair) useful for the assembly/disassembly of connectors and to disconnect as needed. Six (6) complete MC4 connector kits, these worked well with a other brands, Zippered case keeps it all tidy and handy. CONS: No instructions? none. For newbies would be nice to have at least a cheat sheet to get started. Crimper includes jaw set for 3 different connector sizes, but the MC4s only need the largest, 6mm opening. But I found the smaller crimp openings useful for other fittings and wiring uses. The six MC4 connector kits are provided in small and tidy sewn pockets complete with velcro flaps. Pretty much a waste since once a connector kit is used, the empty pocket is really too small to serve any purpose at all. Maybe a place for your spare TicTacs. No cable cutter/stripper. Inclusion of this essential tool (and delete the trendy MC4 pocket nonsense) would make this a fine DIY kit. Bottom line, recommended. A crimper, 6 connector kits, spanners and handy zipper pouch makes it worthy. For solar cable making, buy a decent cutter/stripper. Very nice kit for solar wiring. The crimpers work great and the quality of the components seems great. Made a couple of repairs with this kit so far and no issues. Comes with everything your need for solar connections.

This is a nice product. All of the fittings are good quality. The wrench tools work great. The crimper tool is excellent. I have had no issues at all with this kit and its fittings and tools. I recommend it.
