Bought these because I wanted some extra weight, love the color green, and needed beadlocks for the rc4wd tires that I got. I've been avoiding Treal (based on cost) for a while now. Most of what I have seen didn't fit the look I was going for to fork out the extra bucks. These finally caught my eye as a good replacement for the steel wheels I had on my B-17. TLDR: Worth it. I have since purchased a set for my son’s Deadbolt. It’s the brass ring that makes this set worth the investment. The fact that they weigh about 50% more than other alloy wheels sealed the deal. I’m glad I made this choice. I’m impressed. If you’re upgrading for the first time, these and a good set of tires have you covered. When considering the price, note that these wheels weigh over 22g. That’s about the same as lower priced alloy wheels and brass disc weights combined. If you are looking for even more mass, these have a nice open design that will accept up to (confirmed) 10.4g “disc” hexes. This configuration adds around 120g over stock down low! The machining on these wheels is very good with a clean, satin finish. They do require a little patience to put together, but they are not difficult. Take care to keep the tire's bead from covering the screw hole. Start by about one turn for each screw and then tighten 5 around the bead (every 3rd screw) in a star pattern a couple of turns at a time to seat evenly. Then just spin in the rest. Perfect fit. I have to say that this is the first set of wheels I’ve purchased that actually meet their claimed specs. Yes, they really weigh 22.4g (with screws installed). Yes, they are 12.7mm wide (not including the screws). For unlisted specs, they have a 6.35mm inset yielding an offset of 1.45mm. This will result in a track width about 5mm narrower than stock on the B-17. You’ll end up about 1mm wider on a Deadbolt, C10, or JLU. They have a larger than average outer diameter. This leaves a little less room for compression, so softer tire compounds will yield better results. For scale appearance, these are a bit on the large size, so I think they look a little better on tires over 50mm. 48mm tires or smaller start to look like a mall crawler. The only thing I would change is I’d like them to have a zero or slightly negative offset. Otherwise, these are a quality set of wheels whose benefits far outweigh the very minor negative. ... show more

    • Very fragile hardware
I like TReal products, they have some of the best lower shock mounts you can find. so I decided to try out these wheels. so far I am unimpressed. the weight is good for a 1/24 scale wheel and they look great, but when tightening the 15 bead lock screws, one of them broke off flush with the wheel, it wasn't cross threaded and wasn't going in hard, it just broke. so now the set will not look very good but at least should still be functional ... show more

These are great looking wheels and I love the extra weight of them. The quality and finish all seem to be pretty high. Assembly was not too bad considering the tiny hardware. I mounted RC4WD Goodyear Wranglers on them and I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Great quality! Just what I’ve come to expect from Treal. There is a minor price premium vs other brands available on Amazon but it’s worth it especially with the weighting lock rings. Easy to assemble. Worked fine with some Injora tires. Fit the truck with no issues or runout, also fits the extended hub nuts. I would like them to be slightly wider to better fit wider aftermarket tire offerings. ... show more

These are good wheels. All metal, putting a hefty amount of weight at the wheels. They seal up the beadlock airtight (as long as your tires have no holes) and I can run without foam. It takes a little patience to get all 15 studs in, but assembly is not difficult. Buy these if you want the heavy feets... ... show more
