  • Awesome amp
Style: 400W 4 Channel
I installed two under seat subs and eight and a 10 in the driver and passenger side and later over 120 ft of wire in my car with this amp connected to the front two and rear two speakers. I want to say it's like day and night with this amp for the way the speaker sound, they sounded okay but now they sound great and with the addition of the subs I haven't had a car that had such full range and clarity before great product a lot of work very affordable. ... show more

  • IT’S NOT THE AMP’S FAULT!
Style: 400W 4 Channel
***UPDATE 8/4/18*** I went mudding a week ago and accidentally sank my jeep in a pond 🙃 Completely flooded the floor of my interior and soaked the amp, luckily it was off. A couple days later I ripped the entire interior out and washed it out really good, like literally washed the inside of my jeep with a hose. I figured the amp had already been soaked what more harm could I do. Got everything back together after drying out, fired up the jeep, turned the stereo on and BAM! Perfect sound quality. If it can get soaked twice and still work I think that says something. *end of update* Did you know, that running your power lead in close proximity to your audio cables can cause loss of sound clarity, distortion, and you guessed it, alternator whine?! I’ve had to fix plenty of botched installs due to this. I did a little test and ran my audio cables directly next to my 4g power lead going to both my amps. Heavy whine and almost no signal clarity. Re routed my cables to run on the opposite side of my power lead and wow! Signal was clear, bassy, and no alternator whine. This amp is phenomenal and woke up the old Bose speakers I pulled out of a 2001 Pontiac GTP (2ohms at 50 watts RMS, give or take). I drive a Jeep Wrangler TJ and space is precious, so I can’t have big amps and fancy subs. This fit under my driver seat perfectly and cranks some serious audio to my speakers, even with the top down. Great price for a quality low budget system and I get lots of compliments from friends. GREAT AMP!!! ... show more

  • Junk
Style: 400W 4 Channel
Piece of junk. Dont believe me then go ahead and get it. Waste your money. Amazon should not be affiliated with this junk. Edit: So if anyone comes accross this and wonders, then I'll go more into detail about why it is junk. 1. The amp amplifies any electrical noise inside your vehicle on top of the never ending beeping sound it already makes. (Read the other reviews about this. It's way too common to ignore.) 2. The amp does not put out clean sound at all. (I used this for my door speakers.) I know this is not clean sound even when comparing this amp my also budget 2 channel "Do" amp it sucks. It can make your speakers sound blown. The amp throws random frequencies to your speakers whenever it wants because it has a built in non-adjustable crossover. It's not always giving you example: 10hz-20khz the full time if you want it.. Based off what I know. If the amp you are wanting to get has an adjustable hpf and lpf then it will most likely give you the sound you need. Make sure to read reviews to see if people are having grounding issues with the amplifier causing it to make harsh noises. Still on the budget side of things you get what you pay for. Just don't agree with boss ripping people off with this amplifier. Do your research. I hope this review helped you learn from my own mistake. FACE PALM. ... show more

  • Good 4 channel amp for factory speakers.
Style: 400W 4 Channel
While the amplifier claims to deliver 4x50 watts, in my testing, I found it pushed around 41 watts per channel at 14.8 volts. It’s effective for factory setups, providing clear and punchy sound that makes your music more enjoyable. However, it struggles with non-factory speakers, which limits its versatility. ... show more

  • This amp is kinda okay
Style: 400W 4 Channel
The first one I received I didn’t even hook up, when an opened the box the amp smelled like it had already been burnt up. Sent it back got another, this one works but has the most annoying buzz very loud. I got this amp because it’s small and fits inside a box I’m making. Will replace this one when I find another small amp. UPDATE: bought a good ground loop idolater and it solved the buzz issue. ... show more

  • Great amp!
Style: 1000W 4 Channel
I bought this because I was not happy with my new JVC stereo- it did not have the power my old JVC did. Come to find out the old JVC's have a great pre-amp that the new ones lack. I still have old JVC as I still go back and forth about switching it out- only thing that stops me is new has a usb port in front that I use all the time. I bought the amp to power 4 speakers in my 02 Chevy Silverado 1500 ext cab. I have it powering four Pyramid 250 watt (each) speakers- 2 are 5x8's and 2 are 6x9's. It does a great job of boosting the midrange and highs. I went from having to turn my stereo to 16 to get a decent sound level for driving to only turning it to 3 to get the same level now. I have another Boss amp (1200 watt) hooked to my subwoofer. I will say the subwoofer control is not going to boost your sub...it will actually cut power to it. It is nice if you have someone in the vehicle that hates a lot of bass, but other than that I leave it unplugged. What some people do not realize is you have to match watts for watts. If you are trying to run 1000 watt amp to power a 800 watt sub- you will not be happy. It will get hot unless you limit the output. I had that issue when changing to a lower watt sub, the amp would get hot and turn off (I thought it was the sub turning off). I had the audio shop make some changes and now all runs cool and the music is great- OK except to the old people who can't stand the thumps and loud music coming from my truck :) ... show more
