Apply a thin coat of dip base. 3. Dip tip of the entire nail into the dish. 4. Brush off excess powder. 5. Apply a second coat of dip base 6. Dip tip of a nail into the dish to achieve desired smile line. 7. Brush off excess powder. 8. Apply dip ACTIVATOR. 9. Smooth and refine the surface with a buffer. 10. Apply top coat. Mirror Effect 1. Apply black gel and cure. 2. Apply no wipe top coat and cure for 30 seconds. 3. Pick the powder with eyeshadow stick. 4. Apply the powder on the nail, repeat till you're satisfied. 5. Clean the rest powder with the dust cleaner. 6. Apply top coat and cure.

I received my dip powders relatively quick. I followed the instructions on the Amazon store page and it took a couple fingers to get the hang of it. By the fifth finger I think I had it down. The key is to buff the nail the right amount after the activator step, not too much, just enough for a smooth finish. This was my first time trying dip powders and it was simple and easy to use. It really took me some time to figure out how to use this product, but I think i have it down. I really enjoyed playing around with these powders, but found them to be messy. Before you get into this, watch some videos and see how other people have done them. Also, have patience, and be sure have a brush handy to wipe off the extra powder. The chameleon powders are bit different than the powders (white, solids and glitter colors) you watch on youtube, facebook, etc. I found that the chameleon powders are finer, so dipping a few extra times (whole process) will improve the color and thickness. Also, be sure to really coat your nails well with the sealant. The brushes are not the best, so take your time and really make sure its on the entire nail. I also found that using a black gel base can really improve the overall quality. There are no directions when your shipment comes, so refer back to the product page for directions. They are pretty basic, so have a clear positive mindset and you should be able to get this the first time. ... show more

These dipping powders are the most unique powders I have used so far. When using them as a nail dip, they are very sparkly and so pretty. When using them as a burnishing powder, they pack an amazing punch. The colors are so bright and have a very strong shift. I love the idea that they have a dual purpose, with very different looks, and so pretty both ways. They are very easy to use. I can't wait to wear them as a dip with an accent burnished nail. I just received this set and I've never tried dipping powder before. This was super easy to do. I only wish the set came with paper instructions because I had to look it up online. I didn't expect this to be so easy. Don't get me wrong I didn't get it perfect right away but I know it will just take using it to get used to it. ... show more

MEH.... Definitely got what I paid for. Chipped the next day and the bottles are the size of a Barbie play set seriously. I tried several times to make the chameleon effect happen on all colors and it did not work for me. Now I use the pigment for crafting, it works better that way.

The colors have a boldness to them that I liked and it came with duplicates off the application liquids, each one was also numbered to show which one to use in what order. However the powder didn't stay, it didn't go on bold, it got all over my nail (including getting caked under my nails...) And was not clear or easy to apply... The process of using this as a dip powder is easy, and I like the colors I have. I also used the purple as a chrome powder, which I like a lot. It's a good starter kit for the price.

Colors are beautiful, easy to use, go on as photographed. The liquids are “glued” shut so i couldn’t use those. Good for the price.
