I love this kit! I have just recently become interested in bonsai and this kit has everything you need to get started. The instructions are thorough, and they even provide additional seeds in case not all of your initial seeds germinate. I have also used the included tools on my other bonsai plants. I was skeptical that the soid discs would be enough to fill all 5 planters but as you can see from my pic, they are filled to the brim (not necessary but I had enough soil so I went for it!). I already have a few sprouts and it’s only been 2 days. If you follow the instructions exactly and keep the soil moist, but not too moist, you will have sprouts too! I can’t wait to watch them grow! 🥰 I bought this for me, however, this would be a wonderful gift that has everything you need to get started! I think gifts like this are so much more meaningful as they continue to bring joy to the beholder for many years to come! ... show more

I soaked the seeds and I’ve planted them. Hope I’ll get a few seedlings in a few weeks. I planted 4 because I ran out of containers to soak them in. I wish there was more soil discs for more seedlings to start. The whole kit was really easy to do and the booklet was very clear. Thanks

I have to say this has been so much fun. My son and I have worked on planting these seeds and watching them grow is a blast. I can’t wait until they fully mature and we can actually have our little trees. So far so good, and I am really happy with my purchase. The quality of the seeds is great. Only half the seeds sprouted despite following directions. None of the ones that did sprout made it very long.

So far only 2 stars until something grows. Arrived well packed and with adequate supplies. They do give more seeds but it is not marked as to what they are. It's been about a month and haven't seen anything close to growing. Hopefully soon something will start. I followed all directions and even YouTube'd different techniques. I bought more soil and pots to try more seed in hopes of something to grow. ... show more
