Description

This super-sweet cherry tomato is a best seller because of its flavor, productivity, and good looks. If you like to snack on cherry tomatoes, this is a great choice. One of the popular “Husky” series developed especially for home gardens, the plant is stout, dark green and really pretty; it’s one of the prettiest tomato plants that we grow. The vines are dwarf indeterminate, making them short and husky like a determinate type, usually between 3 and 4 feet, yielding clusters of tasty little cherry tomatoes in a small space over a long period of time. Perfect for pots, too. The dwarf vines stay neat and compact, but give the plant a little support on a stake or cage to keep it upright in rain and wind.

  • Excellent packaging. Healthy plants.
Style: Roma Tomato
I hesitated after reading a few reviews of unhappy experiences, but I started my Romas a bit late and wanted some actual plants just in case. I need my home canned tomato sauce! They arrived a day early, each carefully packed in a clamshell in a sturdy, ventilated box that is clearly marked as live plants. The plants were sturdy and suffered no damage. The soil material feels dry but not overly so. No wilting at all. These are ready to plant. I’m glad I purchased these. ... show more

  • Delivered in great shape
Style: Husky Cherry Red Tomato
I received the delivery in 3 days since I ordered it. It was very securely packed. Each plant was separately packed in a vented plastic clamshell enclosure, all 4 plants shipped inside a sturdy cardboard box. There was a little water at the bottom of the box, indicating they were watered before shipment. The root base of course needed a good drink, as expected. Plants were a good size, with full healthy leaves as they pictured. I could not find cherry tomatoes plamts locally. All good! ... show more

  • Nice tomato's 🍅
I've had these exactly 3 weeks today. Mine are growing in a "Back to the roots" grow bag. And, already I got baby tomatoes. I usually purchase Bonnie plants at my local nursery but, decided to order these off Amazon this time. I can honestly say, it's the fastest they've ever given me babies. If you're strapped for time and, can't get out to shop much. Just order these. I'm extra happy. They were packaged very nicely as well. Healthy and, strong. ... show more

  • Two unhealthy declining tomato plants
Style: Husky Cherry Red Tomato
Unfortunately 2 of the 4 tomato plants looked very weak when I received them and didn't grow instead both declined. Other two of the four tomatoe plants I purchased is continuing to grow. In advance I would appreciate the replacement of the 2 unhealthy declining tomato plants. • Kinda yellow?
Style: Husky Cherry Red Tomato
They arrived today (5/2/24) packaged securely, but slightly travel weary which was not unexpected. I gave them a drink and put them in the sun as instructed. They have some bright yellow leaves at the growth end. Unexpected. Don't know what that's about yet. We'll see how they progress and review again. ... show more

  • Arrived in perfect shape!
This is my first time ordering live tomato plants. I usually do all mine from seeds but lost about 100 tiny plants in my greenhouse on my sunporch when we experienced a really late freeze at the end of April in 2023! I started over but it put me way behind for our short growing season here in NH. And most growers here are not even open to sell you live plants until mid to late May. I am so glad I took the plunge! These Bonnie plants were carefully packaged individually in plastic containers surrounding the pot and plant! Approximately 7" tall not counting the stem and roots in the pots. Only one has slight damage with its top tip broken 1/2". I opened the packages immediately and watered the live tomato plants and today they got some clouds and partial sun on the window sill. Today we have high winds and temps dipping under freezing the next 4 nights so I will keep them safe in the house but this gives me such a head start as even in my aerogrow it would take at least a month or more to get them the size these Bonnie plants are right now. I purchased yellow cherry tomatoes and a set of beefsteak tomatoes plants/4 to a pack! Thank you Bonnie growers! ... show more
