Sure, you’re paying a little more for similar sized alternatives but this safe looks great, works great and gives a variety of ways to unfunk yourself if you get locked out. Fingerprint scanner works fairly well, usually opens with in 2 attempts but that can probably be attributed to user learning how to place finger. Numeric code works well and allows you to hide your passcode from prying eyes by letting you enter any random string of digits as long as your code is entered at some point in the string. This safe is made to keep your run of the mill snoopers out of your valuables or dangerous items. It's sturdy but if someone wanted it opened a sledgehammer would probably get them there. Great for keeping the kids out of your peashooters, locking up a little cash, prescriptions, jewelry, etc. Only thing they missed was a small LED light on the inside, but this can be easily fixed with a couple of motion sensing puck LED’s. It fits my needs and I would recommend it. ... show more
