I think that this is a great dog bed! My dogs really like the bed and it appears to be well made. This bed is so much better than other beds I have ordered because the bolster stays in place and does not tear when you place the orthopedic mattress in the bed. After placing the mattress in the bed, it zips up easily and the zippers hold and do not come apart. I foster dogs when needed, so my dog beds get a workout! This bed has held up well! This is a great orthopedic dog bed. It is more towards the smaller medium size dog. Though my german shepherd thought it was for her. The foam was a good firmness. It did not hold up to any kind of chewing though. It came apart right at the zipper the first time she tried to mess with it and from there it was history. But it was a super soft cover ... show more

This bed is really nice & comfortable. It lost a star because it has a strong chemical smell even after leaving it out the 2 days for it to fluff up. Otherwise, we like it.

Both my dogs have taken to this well made and comfortable bed. The quality is better than the average big box store bed, and the materials used have been easy to bush off so far, and I expect will wash in a machine good too. There are not any parts my dog is trying to chew off like thick piping that the old bed had, and the bottom is made with so it won't slide all over a smooth surface floor. The bolster going around most of the bed is very nice. My dogs tend to curl up and rest their chin on the bolster or use the bolster to curl up snug in a corner. Overall, this is a good quality bed and the darker grey color is great for not showing every bit of fur or dirt, yet has been easy to shake off outside. Our dog (+/-30 pound mutt) loves the dog bed! When it arrived, I thought I may have ordered a bit too big, but she loves to spread out on it. She also seems to like to shove herself toward the edges and kid of cuddle into the corners. The cover is velvety soft and the insert offers a lot of support. She’s still a pup, so I’m not sure if she quite appreciates it, but I’m gonna be honest—I kneel on this when I fold the laundry and it feels great on my knees! I really appreciate that the cover comes off and can be thrown right into the wash. In between washes, I use the vacuum to clean up the sand that her puppy fur drags in. It seems like it’s going to be durable enough to last for a few years at least! ... show more

Packaging was great! Very easy to put together and clean. My pup loves this bed, it is padded very well and has grips at the bottom for hardwood floors, which is perfect for her since she would constantly have her old bed sliding everywhere.

    • This Bed is Big
I got the bed even though I knew it was too big for my 4 dogs, 12# to 25#. But they liked it a lot when I had it in the TV room where they spend the day. Often two would sleep in it at once, with plenty of room. I then moved it to our bedroom where they spend the night. Three of the dogs had no interest in it there as they preferred sleeping on our bed where they usually sleep. The 4th dog would "visit" it each night but she preferred to sleep on the bathroom tile or the smaller bed that she had been using. She is 16 or 17 and doesn't adjust to change well. It arrived boxed with two inner wrapped rolls and expanded when you cut the rolls open. Very easy to put together and zip up, and expanded to near full size by the next morning. We got this dog bed for our 30lb mini poodle. It did take about 48 hours for the mattress part of the bed to fluff up. I love that the cover is removable and washable. We have washed it twice with no issues. The size is awesome and fits perfectly in his crate. The quality and material is excellent for the price point. he seems to love his bed and prefers sleeping inside the crate, even with the door open.
