I bought for myself and my grandson age 14 and we have had a blast with this car. Customer service is excellent too and shipping was fast and the seller resolved a small issue within a few hours. The car is pretty durable so far. We’ve had it a few days so can’t comment yet on long term use. Battery life is about 20-30 minutes per battery. It comes with two rechargeable batteries. It works best on smoother surfaces, not really meant for tall grass. It’s easy to control and the lights look cool when it’s turned on. It also includes and extra tire which is nice. The battery charges in about and hour. It compares well with many other Rc cars we have had that cost a lot more. It’s fast and exceeds our expectations. We would buy again based on our experience so far. ... show more

Having two battery packs is nice. If using the car on uneven surfaces, somewhat hard to remote drive, it goes a different direction if hits a clump of short grass or a rock.

*Update* - After my negative review about the controller (below), the seller contacted me and quickly replaced it with a brand new package - cat, controller, batteries, and all. I’m happy with the service I received. I will update again if the controller lasts longer this go around. The car has a great battery and distance from controller so far. My 7 year old got it for his birthday and loved it! However, after only a few uses the power button on the remote will not stay depressed to keep it on. Very frustrating! And no apparent way to contact the seller/manufacturer for a replacement. ... show more

Please be warned, this isn't a toy vehicle and it moves very fast. I took it to a park across the street and was very impressed by the response between the car and the remote. If there is anything in it's way, it with either drive over it, or jump it! I love that it came with a backup battery pack and a spare tire. This RC is so much fun to drive. I have paid the same amount for "toy" RC's that didn't have close to the same performance as this. My family was helping me test drive it and because of the speed they we're having a hard time controlling it. After reading through the manual I discovered that there are fast and slow buttons on the controller. This was a big help, since my familyembers aren't avid RC drivers. I give this product five stars for performance and value for the price. ... show more

Fast Car! Responsive Steering! Well Designed and balanced. Stopped working after 1.5 days of use. Shortlived internal quality. Worked real good till all of a sudden it would not move forward at all and made strange noises. It actually delivered a lot for the price.....just like some of the reviews kindly mentioned, however it did not deliver for more that 1.5 days. Recieved it on the 13th and by the morning of the 15th it stopped delivering. This vehicle is so well made that it would be worth paying a higher cost for it if it would be built with better internal components. IMO it would be better to use this money towards a vehicle with a higher build quality. Again- It delivered.... but it also underdelivered. The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low cost is forgotten. ------ Seller communication is excellent. I recommend seller Seller resolved issue by offering a full refund. Bought this for my grandson for Christmas. In July, it was accidentally stepped on while playing with it and a wheel was broken. I emailed using the information in the box and they promptly sent new wheels. I emailed them back because we still needed an additional piece and they sent us a new truck! I highly recommend this truck, and they have unbelievable customer service if needed. ... show more

    • Fun but not all terrain

This car is fun and fast. Quite durable so far. Downside, it is rear wheel drive so it spins a lot when accelerating. It it also not great on grass at all. Wheels are not big enough and car is too low. It is very light, so it flips easily.
