Description

This in-pool step features four, 7.5-in deep foot treads, yet only occupies 22-in of swimming space. The step is adjustable to fit above-ground pools from 48-in to 60-in in depth. Crafted from maintenance-free resin for durability and longevity. Dual extended handrails allow swimmers to easily exit the pool. Side panels protect anyone from becoming entrapped under the step, preventing accidental drowning. These side panels are also slotted for better water flow and chemical distribution throughout the pool. Two sets of deck flanges are included, providing greater stability in the pool. The smoothly rounded base allows the step to be stable and not damage the pool liner. The step is easy to assemble with its unique snap-lock construction. 300-lb weight capacity. 5-year limited warranty.

    • So happy with these ladder stairs!
I call these ladder stairs as they are more like a ladder in the shape of stairs than truly stairs. I bought them since they were shallow and we didn't want stairs stretching out halfway into the pool. These are nice and shallow, super sturdy. I still need to turn and descend backward like you would a ladder as they are too shallow to walk down them like you would stairs, at least they are to me. I took off a star on the assembly as the steps come flat and you have to have some serious muscle to bend them into a 90 to attach them to the rails.     • EXCELLENT POOL LADDER
After reading all the reviews I had some concern this would be a good choice. This ladder far surpassed my expectations. It is used in an iPool 3 and attached to a wood platform for water aerobics and water jogging at least 6 hours a week. Now let me address some of the issues I read in other reviews. 1) Bending the steps can be challenging. Definitely use a blow dryer and a strong person. 2) Putting it together was fairly easy but the written instructions were almost comical. Just look at the pictures. 3) I did NOT add sand or pebbles. Instead I drilled several more holes to let the air out and water in. 4) Since the mounting brackets slide to the desired height it was fairly easy to mark and cut off the excess on the non-ladder side of the handles. 5) This ladder is NOT flimsy, as another review stated.     • Just what my sore feet needed!
The ladder arrived yesterday, right on time. I had my 2 grand-daughters assemble it, and it took them about 1 hour. Tip: make sure you read ALL the directions before starting. Sure makes it go together easier.. this ladder makes it so much easier to get in and out of the pool. The neuropathy in my feet just couldn't handle the narrow steps of the normal pool ladder. The handrails are a little shakey, but good enough to get the job done. Overall, I am quite pleased with this ladder, and would highly recommend it. ... show more

    • Sturdy ladder
I bought this for my above ground pool. The instructions were a bit difficult to follow and I did struggle a bit in bending the steps to get them locked in. However, once completed, the ladder is very stable, sturdy and easy to get in and out of. Its weight after putting the required amount of rock in it makes it heavy, but keeps it from moving in the pool. At first I thought the price was a bit extreme but after using it for several weeks now I’m glad I spent the money. ... show more

    • push it in the water so it can fill with water and turn it sideways to allow any air to escape and this inexpensive ladder will work great, It's only been a few weeks for me ...
most complaints I read before I purchased was it floats, yes it does !! There's not enough holes to allow water to enter the cavity of the ladder components so you just gotta drill some, no problem !! After you assemble the ladder you need to drill holes at the bottom and top of all steps and handrail assembly, drill them where they will not be visible and these holes will not affect the structure integrity at all, I used about a quarter inch drill, push it in the water so it can fill with water and turn it sideways to allow any air to escape and this inexpensive ladder will work great, It's only been a few weeks for me but it's fine, if I get a few years out of it I'll be happy but I don't think that will be a problem, ... show more

This is absolutely horrible for the cost. Major assembly required and in the instructions it actually says you have to cut it to fit (you'll need power tools and help). Extremely light and flimsy- had to drill holes as others suggested to make it sink but that doesn't help the hand rails which bend over like a pool noodle when my 8 year old pulls on it. This should have cost $50 at Walmart, this is garbage for almost $200 ... show more

    • Great ladder, but requires additional ballast....
This is an absolutely excellent ladder! However, the reason I've rated the install and overall at 3 stars is due to the requisite to add additional ballist weight in the form of "clean" gravel to the inside of the ladder. For the price you pay, the ladder should have included ballist weight already in it. To me, this is a design flaw and ultimately a true regret to buying this product. The ladder is sturdy, assembly is ok with two people, but arg did they make this annoying by requiring more ballast. The ladder floated until I put about 25# of sandbags with rock on it. I didn't have gravel the size to fit down inside the ladder. If you have time to weight the ladder, this is a perfect option. If not, well, this will be a problem for you. ... show more

    • Easy to assemble and make modifications
Good ladder for your money. This is the only ladder that works for the height of the deck around our pool. We had to do some modifications to it, but I think everyone has to do that because not all decks are the same. And this ladder makes it easy to work with. It does feel a little flimsy, but then again for less than 200 bucks what do you expect. My guess is it will last for the next 3 to 5 years, to me that's good enough. ... show more
