t. One thing that I did not understand was how the cameras pick up. Be aware of the skyline area of the camera. You may want to mark those areas as non-active areas so that birds and bugs flying by are not constantly setting it off. Also remember that cars travel faster than the camera can work. So a car going by may set it off but may not be caught on camera until the back half of the car went by. This is what I mean it will take you time to get used to the camera and how to set things up and what it is you're trying to catch on camera. We purchased for unwanted activity vandalism theft and such as this. However we used our own activities to decide how to set up the cameras. So my advice is work with it before you get frustrated and think it's not worth it, it is. There are tips on the blink site so that you can read the information on each setting and how you should adjust it. The first thing you have to do on each camera is leave the back off because you need to either have the serial number or use your phone to scan it. That is to link to your account and you'll be able to use it from your phone. So one of the first things you'll do is set up an account on your phone. Then start scanning the codes on each camera. Then put the cameras where you want them. Then go back into your phone to the blink site and start playing with all the settings until you get it where you want it.

Does the job ok but probably wouldn't do again...
Setup is easy, it provides video when needed, and I love the two-way communication with the cameras. Live view allows me to see things in real time and I can communicate in real time. From a security perspective, notifications can be slow to receive and sometimes not at all. I've walked up on the cam
eras and a good minute or two goes by before I get alarms going off. I've also walked up and not had any alarms go off. I wish it could provide video recording a few seconds leading up to an event and through the end of the event, but you only get a few seconds after the event starts to whatever time you have configured after. If you need that feature, this system isn't the right system. I don't like that I can only view through the app on my phone and not through a web browser on my PC. Overall, it works but there are other features I would look for if doing it over again.

Loving the security I feel
There has been a rise in crime in town of late, so I decided I'd finally join the trend and get a security camera system. This system has been extremely easy to install, not just from an attachment perspective, but from a software one as well. I had 7 cameras set up and ready to go with in hour and m
ost of that time was unpacking. Night vision is great, very clear, same with low light such as dusk or stormy times. Range is solid as well with a wide viewing angle allowing for full coverage of preferred area. Only "complaint" I have is how slow it is to reach the live feed. Minimal delay once accessed, but it takes longer than I would like. This may be a settings issue. I'm still working on figuring it out. Oh, and the Doorbell battery dies very quickly, so I have to figure that out as well.

Greatest value, all around.

orage verses the 100 dollars per year, I immediately decided to pay the 100 dollars. You can’t find cheaper surveillance anywhere, and you don’t have to wait till you get home, to put the thumb drive into your computer to see footage. I can see my entire, two acres and beyond. You get alerts on your phone. You can see and hear everything, as well as speak to your pets or humans. I also bought the echo show 8 for the same price that other stores are selling the small echo show. You can just ask Alex to show you any camera, and it pops up on your screen. You can watch movies and more, on it. With the 100 dollars a year, you also get extended warranty. I hope that means, if my modem blows up again and destroys my sync module, the warranty will cover a new one. If not, a new one is still cheaper than having to buy a whole new system. Setup and installation was easy. As a widowed, 61 year old, who lives alone, I am very happy with everything so far. I’ve had them for two months. The cameras are for protecting my property, and catching any future thieves. I wasn’t afraid without them, I don’t play. I can protect me. I am Wonder Woman. I also love the fact that I can see and hear wildlife. It’s so beautiful to see and hear the birds singing, and bees buzzing, and my cat has learned to come to the doorbell camera when he’s ready to come inside. Loving everything, so far. 🌞

We’ve been very happy with our set up since day 1. East to install, program and manage. The sound isn’t super awesome from the cameras but good enough for a short conversation, door bell is better.

We had our local company come out and quote a price, for 3 hard wired cameras with closed circuit monitoring it was going to be $2,006. I couldn’t believe it. Yes the night vision could be better and yes there is a bit of a delay with live voice, but how else are you going to have this many cameras with live video and voice capabilities for under $500. We even did the $100/yr for the unlimited Amazon service. I’m think there are a great buy for the money and would buy them again. I will probably get some cameras to put up around my camper when I have it setup places for work.

Would not buy again. Look elsewhere.
Horrible system, wouldn't even use them if it was free. App constantly has issues where it won't let you live view (with full wifi signal), or just says "system is busy". Sometimes I walk by the camera and it won't pick up my motion at all and I'm 5 feet away. There is about a 5 second delay from whe
n motion is detected, so the person is out of frame before it starts to record. You have to arm/disarm all cameras at once, can't do it individually. Only 1 camera will record at once (even though they say 2 can) and if a camera is recording you CANT do live view. Support can't do anything for you except restart the camera. Video quality they offer won't clearly show a license plate, even parked. Doesnt work on cars. Yes its easy to install, and is battery powered, but not worth a penny. I returned my whole system. The free AlfredCamera App worked better than this did. I'll keep looking. Cameras are less than 100 feet from router/module, even bought a wifi extender to see if it helped, nope. I work in IT for living and still couldn't get these to work.

Very Easy Setup, Works GREAT!!!
Doing a total rebuild, wanted a security system so I can maintain control. The system is extremely easy to setup, all you need is a router with WiFi and it all connects after you scan within the setup program.

I had higher hopes for these. They don't zoom out to get a bigger picture and the night vision is garbage unless you have a flood light. Works ok kinda wish I would've gotten different cameras
