I have had several sets of security cameras, but none better than the quality of these Decko cameras. My sister recommended them to me; although the product description does not say that you can talk in two ways, nor does it describe that they are Wi-Fi and do NOT need a cable to be installed.     • Get an inexpensive Wi-Fi extender to improve signal strength for best reliability.

Currently I have four cameras installed in a 3850 square foot house. I did need to use a Wi-Fi extender to increase signal strength for better conductivity in the more far-reaching locations. My system works on Ultra HD or SD. I prefer the SD because it takes less room on the local storage which I use. Some of the features that I really like is the human recognition and autocruze which both work fantastic. I have the camera set up to auto track human beings which allows the cameras to sweep back and forth when there is a human being walking past the cameras field of vision. I do recommend connecting to Wi-Fi while you are close to your router prior to mounting the cameras. This will give you fast conductivity for initial use. I do plan on installing up two more cameras bringing the total to six at the house. ... show more

Great video quality, motion tracking, and 360-degree capture work pretty well. The camera is responsive, the new dedicated app works well, and the option to add an SD card and continuously record is great. Customer support went far out of their way to make sure everything was alright and working.

Found the instructions for installation to be user friendly and had no issues with getting the cameras online. Installed the first camera in the back yard and worked perfectly. The second camera mounted in the front yard would not go online. The camera showed a weak WIFI signal. When placing the camera at the location of the one in the backyard, still could not get the camera online, proved that the camera was deficient. After discussions with the technical assistance the camera was replaced the the replacement is performing well. The only negative is the time required to reach a conclusion from the technical staff that the camera did indeed need replacing. I would purchase this item again. ... show more

I am myself an electronics and software development/test engineer with more than 17 years working experience and I could not get " Simple" security camera working on my mobile. I have configured other brands with SIM card 4G and they all worked.. But this one with Wiffi. It did not worked. The steps described in their manual does not work. ( I tried 3 different methods and none worked. 1. QR Code marled on the camera itself --> Does not work 2. Selecting your 2.4Gh wiffi and then face your phone about +-15 cm to the phone to scan QR code --> Does not work 3. Last step was manual configuration --> Connecting with a proxy Wiffi STRxxxxxx . --> Did not work. In total I tried more than 50 times(I waste almost 3 hours) .. from turning off/on my mobile.... Modem on/off .. Resetting Camera but also Camera on/off... I tried all possible combinations and it just did not worked. I cannot imagine giving this task to someone who does not knowledge at all about technology It is just nonsense. To the factory DEKCO. Set a process routine in your final inspection there in China before shipping these devices.. They might worked somewhere here and there and in different regions. But for my case here in Europe in Spain .. It did not work. Very disappointed. I spent hours trying to get this working. I should have spent couple of euros more and bought another brand. This is my second review in this product I way few months before give my review. This camera are easy to install and I bought it because my older brother house was break in twice and he didn’t have a way to protect himself but at less now we can see the faces of the people trying to break in his home. Since my brother installed the camera he feels much better because now he can see who is outside his home and try to harm him and his family.     • Difficult to live stream on device

Bought 4 of them nearly two years ago. They are still running strong. I dislike that if you change the password for your home internet you would have to take down all the cameras and reset and reconnect back. The cameras are extremely difficult to watch live and recorded streams on the app even though I have 200Mb broadband speed. Many times the display would keep spinning around trying to connect to the server until it gives up. The image quality is okay. Installation is not that hard. Just bring all cameras near your router and connect to your internet using the app on your phone. Then take them and install around your residence. The value for money is good. The cameras look well made and durable. The customer service is very good. If it could only connect to the app quickly as other manufacturer's cameras that I have it would have been so good. Now concerning night vision all my cameras, from three different companies, are more or less the same- if the subject comes 15-20 feet it would be probably be possible to make an identification but further and the subject gets a little difficult to make out. Day time pics are good. I don't think I would buy again just because of the difficulty in connecting to their server to see the live and recorded streams on their app. Really that app needs to be reworked on and updated. ... show more
