I have had these lanterns for four years. I've had a few that quit lighting but the others are still lighting up. I've always had them in my pool. As long as you have them in the sunlight they will continue to light up at night. There is no maintenance except when you first blow them up. I bought these to decorate a back yard, and the pool. Mission accomplished! They are bright enough to be dazzling, but aren't so bright that they look cheap or cheesy. The solar charge lasted throughout the night, and for a couple of hours into the next day. They are made out of a thick vinyl, so I feel like they wouldn't get damaged easily. The only complaint I have, is that the remote didn't seem to work for me as easily as I wanted, but I would totally buy these again!! ... show more

Very disappointed in this product. The first day I got the lights, I had them out in the sun charging all day for the solar charge. That night, they all worked except for 1 of the balls. The following day another ball didn't light up. I have 2 balls that don't light up or work and another that is very dim. The seller leaves 3 options to reach out to them for them to make it right but 2 of the options don't work and the 3rd which is emailing them, they have yet to reply. These are a waste of money. I can't reach anyone on Amazon to ask to replace the balls that don't work. It goes to an automated chat that only gives you the option to return all 4 balls, leaving me the inconvenience of having to deflat them all and stand in long lines during the holidays to return them. Do not buy. I will delete my review if the seller decides to make this order right. Otherwise I will leave my review up to warn others that the balls are nothing like the pictures show.
