I sliced off the side of my thumb on a mandolin and went to my neighbor for help. After a quick rinse to visualize the wound, she opened a pack of WoundStop and poured it on as directed. The bleeding stopped. It worked quickly to stop the profuse bleeding and didn’t cause any discomfort. So I purchased some for my first aid kit. This stuff is amazing. My neighbor applied a pressure bandage and checked the wound the next day, removing the leftover Wound Stop with wound spray and bandaged it. There was no more bleeding. I bought this for those dog nail trimming accidents and works perfect to stop the bleeding. I accidentally trimmed the dog’s nail quick and remembered I had just purchased this item. I poured some of the powder in my hand and dipped the bleeding nail which immediately stopped the bleeding. Impressive! I haven’t tried it on a human but I’m sure it works as intended.
