This was my first gas powered griddle I bought for camping in our travel trailer. So far I love it! Cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner on it multiple times. Pros: It is heavy. The top if very well built, thick, and as a result, heavy. Cooks great! I made some of the best, juiciest burgers I've ever made on it. Cooks really fast with the heat way up. Cleans pretty easily while not removing the seasoning. Drip tray is big and works great. Lights easily. Cons: uses a lot of gas. I used up two of those small green tanks really fast. Make sure you cook on a level surface. When trying to cook eggs, the egg would run to one side of the griddle. Or get egg rings. Recommendations: Buy a quick disconnect hose to run off your RV/travel trailer gas (sold on Amazon) or buy the hose that connects to a standard 40lb propane tank. Otherwise, buy a lot of the little green ones, you'll need them. Overall, very satisfied. Might even use it at home a lot. ... show more

I wanted to buy one for a while. Finally I did. I am extremely happy customer. The griddle is made of very thick metal, so when you start cooking the griddle does not get cold when you place food on it. I seasoned it only once, and every time I cook I finish with a quick cleaning and wiping with oil, turn the heat off and let it cool. I would recommend you prepare everything you want to cook ahead of time because cooking goes very fast. I used it for cheese steak, hibachi, eggs... I even used it in the middle of winter by placing it on the cold stove under the range hood and cooked what I wanted with no smell or cooking fumes. This may not be the most comfortable since the griddle may be too high but works great. I also like the fact that heat can be adjusted on each side separately, so one side can be used for cooking and the other to keep food hot (may need to keep food way to the side to keep it warm and to prevent overcooking since even with one side on the griddle can heat up a bit too much) ... show more

If you like to cook and eat a black stone griddle is for you. It cooks hot, fast I can fling food all over and not make a mess.super easy to clean. I love to make Philly steak sandwiches & smash burgers. And plenty of room for breakfast with only one thing to clean 😏. It’s only me so I bought the 22inch , which is plenty for two people. Overall very happy with the 22” black stone stove, we mainly purchased for a Labor Day camping trip. There was a glitch in shipping by UPS (item lost in shipping). Reached out to Amazon once we returned from camping to figured out what had happened. Amazon communicated with the seller thereby seller followed-up with us, seller was very good (quick to respond) in reporting what happened and provided options for second stove (cancellation with refund or reorder). Received second stove quickly in excellent condition (packaging perfect) and very happy with seller’s customer service. We would purchase items from them again without hesitation. I needed a large flat griddle to use outdoors and my cast iron griddle was too small. Voila! This Blackstone 22" griddle fits perfectly on top of my Weber 3 burner grill. The grill cover almost closes all the way in case I need it.....the grill also provides a serving/prep area so no need for a separate stand. I simply remove the griddle when I want to grill. Pros: Heats up quickly, up to 650 degrees in one part of grill, great for searing Easy to assemble Clean up simple; removable and replaceable aluminum pan drip tray Perfect for cooking things that are not suitable for a grill Cons: Cooking surface a tad askew; I needed a couple of washers to tilt the griddle toward drip pan vs. the front Uneven surface temperatures; varies over 100F from hottest area to coolest; workable, but a nuisance A tad expensive vs. the competition, worth it for me Overall, it is a weiner! ... show more
